My son and I are sitting in the ER alive tonight thanks to my Tesla and God's grace.
On our way home from @theXtakeover we were on the freeway when a wrong way driver hit us head on at freeway speeds.
I remember parts of the accident. Seeing the trucks headlight, my airbag deploying, and the emergency response calling the car.
I escaped through the passenger door to grab my son. All the while other cars were crashing around us.
I am still really shaken but realize that the safety features of my Tesla saved our lives. DPS and firefighters were shocked that we walked away.
This is a true testimonial to how safe these freaken Teslas are. Thank you @Tesla, @elonmusk, the Tesla Engineering Team, and my almighty God.
Be safe out there everyone. You never know when something like this can happen. God speed.

Here are some super close ups of the Cybercab cameras. This lets you see where the washer fluid and air come from.

I love the gold, but for fun here's what the Cybercab would look like in four other colors:

We’re in orbit! And just made European history: This is the first time a privately developed rocket reached orbit from continental Europe; and a testament to the dedication, expertise, and teamwork of everyone involved.

Here is a clip of my first Unprotected Left Turn in a Cybercab. Without my normal camera setup this doesn't quite show it like I am used to. Enjoy!

Right before the Cybercab launch event started, two guys from the @teslasi came up to me and introduced themselves.
One was @pduan, the legend who brought us the "raw photon count" tech that allows FSD to see so much more than what is visible in the image. The other was the guy who called me 6 years ago when Tesla was about to send FSD Beta 1 to my car (best phone call of my life).
They have worked at Tesla for nine years and twelve years respectively, pouring their blood sweat and tears into making what we experienced tonight a reality. Believe me, it was not as easy as they make it look.
These guys are heroes to me, and I told them that. They worked for years and years on something that everyone thought was impossible, but has now changed our lives and will change and save countless more lives in the future. They've given a gift to the world that the world hasn't fully yet wrapped their head around or appreciated.
Look at the recent story where a toddler fell down in the middle of a crosswalk, and a Waymo stopped 13 feet away. By all accounts that toddler may be alive today only because it was a Waymo approaching and not a distracted teenager on their phone. But did the parent appreciate their child's life being protected? No, they actually complained to the city, complained to the state, complained to the federal government, complained to the media. They complained that their child *wasn't* run over, and this was a news story. But if a human had run their child over, the sad thing is it wouldn't even be a news story. It would just be Thursday. It would blend into the abyss of the tens of thousands of Americans and millions of humans who lose their lives in car crashes every year.
I can't imagine the persistence, courage, and brilliance it took to dedicate a decade of your life to such a thankless task, where you've done something truly beautiful for the world but most are afraid of the technology, trying to stop it to enrich themselves, or simply too stupid to understand it. But they did it anyway, and all of us get to enjoy the convenience and safety that results.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Tesla team. Thank you to the AI team that trained the models, thank you to the drivers that evaluated them. Thank you to the Charging team building out the charging network for these Robotaxis. Thank you to the manufacturing team that pioneered new technologies that will bring these low cost product to the masses.
We've come so far, but this is just the beginning. One day pure vision end to end self-driving won't be a secret little niche technology. It will be as ubiquitous as the iPhone or the internet. When that day comes, many will sing the praises of the brave men and women who built this future out of nothing but a vision and their own talents.
But until then, know that there are people out there who see the beautiful thing you've done. That all the late nights and stressful days added up to something that's changed the way we live. You are all legends in our eyes, and this weekend is dedicated to you. Thank you ❤️

An update on FSD Supervised in Europe
FSD is currently approved in five EU countries (NL, DK, BE, EE, LT), used by >70k customers for over 1 million km per day, and is 4.1x less likely to get into a crash compared to manual driving, measured across 100 million km on public EU roads.
Leading up to a potential EU-wide approval vote for FSD Supervised on October 6th, 2026, we have decided to open-source one of the key pieces of evidence used to support the Netherlands approval.
As a reminder, we adjusted the FSD design to be compliant with existing regulation (UN-R-171 DCAS) but requested an exemption for certain behaviors via the EU Article 39 procedure. The following dashboard is evidence of safety for those exemptions.
This exact dashboard was shared with all EU Member States in April 2026, shortly after RDW’s approval, and all data presented is from before that date.
tesla.com/fsd-evidence-dashb…
European countries recorded 19,400 road deaths in 2025. That's around 53 deaths/day, with the vast majority of these crashes attributed to human error. These deaths are largely preventable with technology we have today.
FSD Supervised is already saving lives where it’s approved – yet in much of Europe, that safety benefit remains locked behind bureaucracy.

FSD will NEVER work! Not without LIDAR!
… Okay, so it’s starting to work. Big deal. It will never be driverless!
… Okay, wow it’s driverless. Well that’s expected honestly. But it will never be driverless on YOUR CAR.
Oh, you own a car that’s fully driverless? Well… that’s cool but it’s not like it’s conscious.
Okay, maybe it’s achieved consciousness but… not in Europe yet…

Wireless charging for EVs is really exciting.
Imagine just falling asleep on a road trip, and your self-driving car can stop to charge and get back on the road entirely on its own.
Imagine never having to remember to plug in.
In fact, people in apartments who don’t have a place to park won’t even have to worry about charging. The car can just go charge itself and be ready the next time the owner needs it.
This technology will accelerate EV adoption once it’s available at a reasonable price. And it’s already an SAE standard, which should in theory make all brands of wireless charger and wireless charging EV compatible with each other.

I’m sorry, but every other AV operator has to be absolutely terrified of Tesla Robotaxi and Cybercab. They’re all doing great work but there is just no out manufacturing and building infrastructure Tesla.
—Fully vertically integrated sub-$30k vehicle (the Cybercab) built in Texas with an eventual annual run rate of over 1 million. (No retrofitting needed.)
—2-passenger with triple connection redundancy: 5G, GPS, and Starlink.
—Most efficient EV ever made, 300 miles of range on a 48kWh battery that gets 165 Wh/mile.
—Will eventually use inductive charging for fully autonomous docking.
—No HD mapping or other sensor equipment needed.
—Oh, and only the world’s largest EV Supercharger network, with teams very good at building rapidly.
It will take time, but no one is more prepared than Tesla. No one.
