EVgo, a provider of public fast charging infrastructure for EVs, announced plans to add “EVgo Superchargers” from @Tesla to its metropolitan network. EVgo Superchargers will appear on the in-car Tesla navigation, and Tesla drivers can be automatically routed to these sites using the Tesla Trip Planner. Deployments will start this fall, and the first EVgo Supercharger sites are expected to be operational in the second half of 2026. The V4 Superchargers are capable of up to 500kW. This deployment is part of Tesla's new Supercharger for Business program.

Rivian already has a high-margin Max pack on the R1… why not offer a version of it on the R2? Tesla is even worse. They’ve been putting the same ~80 kWh packs in the 3/Y for nearly a decade and still won’t sell a Long Range Plus with 100+ kWh for an extra few grand. I’m not asking for free range. I’m asking them to charge me more money for a trim that would sell and boost their margins. And they still won’t do it. That’s wild.
