Security teams don’t need more alerts.
They need the right three sentences for the right person.

My take on AI/SI, recently reinforced:
Experts will have a superpower.
Non-experts will have a hammer and a screw.
My @bot does great things.
It does things I know well much better.

🇮🇹 This guy in Milan had clearly run out of patience with the looters.
The city center is a mess, people are emptying stores, and he just shows up with a stick and starts personally escorting looters away from the Under Armour like it’s his own shop.
The way he’s going after them, you’d think they took his last pair of shoes.

🚨 BREAKING: Looters are now BREAKING INTO HOMES in Paris — and it was only a matter of time
Absolutely NOBODY is coming to help the Parisians either.
This is why you NEVER give up your guns. The government will NOT be there for you.

🔥🇫🇷 The violence in France JUST KEEPS ESCALATING
Rioters armed with HAMMERS are terrorizing shops in northern France.
A terrified woman tries to take cover alongside two men inside a store as a rioter attempts to ATTACK them with a hammer.
ENOUGH WITH THIS BS!

Nothing is more efficient than the inefficiency of government.
Governance has no economic
production; it only distributes, regulates, or enforces what is valued.
Capitalism defines the value of production, maximizing economic value.

🚨BREAKING: The historic Limoges town hall has just completely collapsed after far-left rioters set it on fire
It was built in 1876. It survived World Wars. It did not survive modern France.

This is the UAE Foreign Minister talking about Islamists rising in Europe.
You know why he chose to say it in English?
Because so often the media changes the translation to be “politically correct” in ways that completely miss the core message and appeases Muslims.

Replying to @SawyerMerritt @SpaceX
Who would have thought the industrialization of space would begin with uploading everyone's personal computer to space.

I LOVE this line:
". . . keep holding your academic seminars, writing your unread articles, awarding each other meaningless prizes, and looking down your noses at Donald Trump and Marco Rubio."
The people Deputy Secretary Landau is referring to will take offense to this, claiming it is merely an expression of resentment and insecurity.
That's because those same people don't realize that they are dinosaurs and the asteroid has already hit.
Those sorts of embittered academic snobs do not recognize that the post-WWII rules-based international order has largely failed, that the nations that were once the focus of our most important alliances and diplomacy have become mostly impotent and irrelevant, that the Western Hemisphere is now America's most important region, and that the greatest threat to humanity today is global Islamist jihad (i.e., a threat that obeys no diplomatic rules or niceties and is dealt with effectively only via brute force and violence).
Well done, Christopher Landau.
*THIS* post perfectly encapsulates the decadence and degeneracy of the contemporary US foreign policy establishment. In this view, a US Secretary of State is only *supposed* to travel to NATO capitals because a successful US foreign policy is what makes diplomatic counterparts in Paris, Berlin, and Brussels raise a champagne toast to “shared values” while flinging open their borders, destroying their economies, and apologizing for Western civilization. God forbid a US Secretary of State show his face in Bogotá, Quito, or Lima because that’s where mere “Assistant Secretaries” are supposed to tread. This smug approach led not only to predictably catastrophic results in the Western Hemisphere but also in Europe itself, where the combination of moral vanity and strategic incoherence also proved toxic. But sure: keep holding your academic seminars, writing your unread articles, awarding each other meaningless prizes, and looking down your noses at Donald Trump and Marco Rubio.

Secretaries of State travel the world, to our biggest allies and to address the most pressing issues. But Marco Rubio does neither. His solo travels take him where assistant secretaries go. Rarely the boss. open.substack.com/pub/ivodaa…
