A dozen launch towers is the headline. The map tells the real scale, ports, roads, exclusion zones and downrange corridors all become part of the launch system at 30 flights a day. Starbase Louisiana will be an entire operating geography.
Most people see the spacewalk, however the quieter story is the antenna, collecting data in orbit only matters if it can reach the ground reliably and become searchable. That invisible infrastructure is what makes the data useful.
Join us here Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 7am ET (1100 UTC) for @astro_anil and @Soph_astro's second spacewalk together. They'll finish installing a communications antenna on the @Space_Station.
