i think it's awesome that the whip weapon is literally just smash ultimate Belmonts. same tipper, same length, same angles as Belmont fair. it took me all of 2 seconds to fully master the thing. it felt like coming home,,

i think it's funny that the Belmonts are labeled "vampire hunters" but Castlevania only has like 4 vampires besides Dracula and you don't fight most of them as Belmonts family lineage of implied off screen vampire slaying

I kinda dislike how people downplay the Belmonts. They don't just fight vampires, their archenemy is an actual eldritch horror and their ancestral weapon is the bane of all evil. They've done crazy shit like being able to stand up to the Time Reaper from Judgement.

Brauner and Olrox you fight as a Morris, Aulin, or Alucard Walter & Joachim you fight as Leon Belmont, but he was the first Belmont/they weren't "vampire hunters" yet, he was a crusader for the church Carmilla is the one big exception, Simon flights her and so does Richter
