Surrey deserves better! For too long, the province has neglected our city, leaving us with crumbling healthcare and inadequate services. It’s time for change—demand action now! #SurreyMatters #BCpoli

A statement by ICBA Chief Economist Jock Finlayson on the 2026 Conservative Party of B.C. platform and costing:
"The costed Conservative platform looks reasonable. It is a balanced plan, recognizing that there is much that affects the B.C. economy which is beyond the government’s control.
"The Conservatives intend to take a gradualist approach to deficit reduction, which makes sense given the depth of the fiscal hole Premier Eby has dug and the fragile state of the economy. An important element of fiscal strategy under a new government will be kick-starting the private sector, which has been languishing over the past several years while the broad public sector has continued to expand. The private sector accounts for at least three quarters of all economic activity – including employment – in British Columbia; it also provides the exports and drives the innovation on which living standards partly depend. Under the NDP, the priority has been increasing the size and reach of the public sector, even as large parts of the business community have been struggling or in outright decline.
"A healthier business climate and a stronger private sector economy will help to address B.C.’s difficult fiscal situation by bolstering economic growth and expanding the tax base."
Enough is enough @jinnysims . Your personal attacks are ridiculous. People invite me to groups all the time. You attacked me for a funny meme about banking. How desperate are you?
Maybe answer about the accusations of anti-semitism launched by your colleague? Someone that worked closely with you and knew your personally.
Pathetic.
Do not question my patriotism, I wore the uniform, and sacrificed more than you will ever understand to protect this country.
The BC NDP will always stand for a united Canada. There is no room for separatism in our party.
Why is Conservative MLA @TepperBryan a member of the BC Prosperity Project, where people openly advocate separation and threaten our friends and neighbours?

The Conservative Party of BC stands for a strong and united Canada. Always.
David Eby questioning my patriotism is shameful. Invoking soldiers we lost this weekend in an attempt to save his own job is beyond the pale.
This is a desperate distraction from his record.
While David Eby once again tries to divide British Columbians, we are focussed on uniting to get BC back on track.

We will get big things built in British Columbia again.
New hospitals, long-term care homes, and major infrastructure projects that create jobs, strengthen our economy, and deliver results for British Columbians.
It’s time to get BC moving. On October 24th, vote Conservative.

Today is the Municipal Election for British Columbians. It’s also an advance voting day for our Provincial Election.
David Eby called this election because he saw an opportunity for himself, but we see an opportunity for you.
Go out and vote today!

David Eby is having an absolutely horrible day.
He’s been having a lot of those during this election.
Here’s a supercut of Eby getting grilled by media on today's secret land deal scoop.

David Eby saw an opportunity for himself.
But I see an opportunity for you.
On October 24, you get to decide.
Vote to give BC strong leadership for serious times. Vote Conservative.
For too long, Surrey families have dealt with an overcrowded Surrey Memorial when they need care for moms and kids. I’ve been working locally to push for a women and children’s hospital that would ease that pressure.
This is the chance to finally get it done. Surrey will not be a second-class city under a Conservative government!!!
NEW - @Conservative_BC promise to scrap long-delayed @bcndp Massey Tunnel project (which still doesn’t have enviro approval) and build a 10 lane bridge instead.
Also promises to complete new Surrey Hospital in Cloverdale, and build a new Women and Children's Hospital in Surrey.

David Eby knew the Massey Tunnel cost had doubled, and he kept it from British Columbians anyway.
BC families deserve a government that tells the truth. It's time for strong leadership for serious times. On October 24, vote Conservative.

42,000 British Columbians lost their jobs in the last two months alone, as David Eby plotted his cynical, opportunistic early election.
David Eby can't defend his record, and can't explain his plan. Eby's facial reaction says it all.
British Columbians want hope and opportunity. They want jobs.
It's time for change. It's time for strong, principled leadership for serious times.

David Eby refuses to answer about Amanda Burrows, his hand-picked 'defund the police' candidate.
Meet radical NDP candidate Amanda Burrows.
While families deal with break-ins, random attacks and open drug use, Burrows thinks we need to defund our police.
Your family can’t afford more NDP chaos in our streets.

Of course, once again, David Eby can't defend his record when asked.

David Eby refuses to repeal DRIPA.
Lorne Doerkson has been crystal clear: DRIPA must be repealed.

Moderator Shachi Kurl lists off David Eby's abysmal record of failure on healthcare.
In responses, David Eby says he loses sleep thinking about healthcare.
But British Columbians are losing a lot more than sleep because of David Eby's failure.
BC needs change.

Notice a pattern?
Again and again, David Eby avoids talking about his own record of running British Columbia.
It's time for change. It's time for strong, principled leadership for serious times.
