It took almost two years.
Washington Co, Tennessee, authorities are investigating after human remains were found in the area of the Nolichucky River Saturday. The project hoped to find the body of Nancy Tucker, the person from Washington Co. still missing after Huricane Helene.

"They're all gone!"
Those immortal, jarring words echoed around the world OTD in 1972, by legendary ABC presenter Jim McKay, confirming all 11 Israeli hostages were murdered by Palestinian terrorists at the 1972 Munich Olympics.
May their memories always be a blessing!

In American schools, when lunch ends,
children throw their trays into plastic bins and walk away.
A hired janitor comes in later to sweep up the mess.
In Japan, there are no janitors.
At 12:15 p.m., the students put on white smocks, hairnets, and masks.
They carry heavy pots of soup from the kitchen themselves.
They ladle out equal portions for their classmates.
Nobody touches their spoon until everyone is served and they say "Itadakimasu" together.
Then, at 1:00 p.m., something even more profound happens:
O-soji. Cleaning time.
Seven-year-old kids get on their hands and knees with white cloths — zokin.
They push those cloths down the long wooden hallways,
polishing the grain until it shines like glass.
They wipe the chalkboards. They clean the toilets.
The teachers clean alongside them.
Why make children scrub floors?
Because when you spend fifteen minutes on your knees scrubbing a floor,
you will never, for the rest of your life,
drop a piece of trash on it.
It teaches a child that no work is below them.
No human being is born a master.
A high-trust society isn't born from laws.
It's born on the knees of seven-year-olds
taking pride in a clean floor.

Everyone is rightfully outraged over migrants in Ceuta beating a baby dolphin to death, but European children are raped and killed by migrants on a daily basis and we barely see this level of fury.
It took a dolphin calf. That says something about the way our society views the value of human children.
Take the Lindsay Clancy case. She strangled her three children to death and the left and feminists all rushed to her defense.
If she had strangled three dolphin calves instead, none of them would have defended her.
There’s something deeply wrong here.

Once a year, the Sun assumes a perfect position, which illuminates the Yosemite Falls in California - this is what it looks like

This is Horsetail Fall, a seasonal waterfall on the east side of El Capitan — not Yosemite Falls, which is a separate, larger waterfall in a different part of the park. The National Park Service documents this "Firefall" phenomenon at Horsetail Fall. nps.gov/yose/planyourv…

Every crash you hear is a body hitting the ground from someone in the World Trade Center whose best option was to jump. Many of the firefighters you see in this clip did not survive the next few hours, including the chaplain.
I don’t care about your suicidal empathy towards Islam. I don’t care about your stupid trade war. This is an 8-hour drive from Toronto. These are our people, our brothers and sisters.
Call 9/11 what it was.
