Let's talk about Catherine, because the Arab world is and we might as well join them.
Morning. Pouring rain. Green coat for Oman's flag. Diana's diamond feathers on it, the brooch only the wife of the Prince of Wales may wear. Then the curtsy to the Sultan, all the way down, all the way up, smile intact, that has been doing the rounds from Muscat to Riyadh ever since.
Evening. St George's Hall. Butter yellow. A caped gown by Elie Saab, which is to say a Lebanese couturier, an Arab house chosen for an Arab guest, and nobody had to explain that to anybody at the table. The Lover's Knot on her head, Diana's again. The Royal Victorian Order across her. The King's Family Order at her shoulder. Half the internet said Belle from Beauty and the Beast. The other half just stopped scrolling.
Two years ago she was on a bench in a garden telling us she had cancer. Tonight she was the most looked-at woman in the Gulf, and she got there without a single word about herself all day. Curtsied in the wet, changed, walked into the hall on her husband's arm, sat with a Sultan, went home.
That's diplomacy you can't buy and can't teach. A green coat in the rain, a yellow gown at dinner, a Lebanese designer, Diana's jewels, and manners that read the same in every language. The future Queen, saying welcome twice in one day, perfectly, without raising her voice.
Just wow.
What a drug abusing little prick that thinks his blood family should forgive him.
Prince Harry gives his first major interview since moving back to England and says he wants to reconcile with King Charles and Prince William:
“Some people don’t want it to work out. I want it to work out. With everything else that’s going on in the world, the most important thing is to reconcile — that’s the key point. Scars stick around forever. But what your perception is, and what your mindset is to those things that have happened, letting go of the past. That’s something that I would encourage everybody to do: If there’s certain things from the past that are still affecting you every day, that’s harder to let go of. But, for me, there’s enough drama in the world and enough drama in people’s lives to continue with issues with family.” (via GQ)

Let me point out for Republicans and MAGA that are attacking Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, Michigan U.S. Senate candidate, for being Muslim. Dr. Mehmet Oz who serves in Trump’s administration as Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS,) is Muslim also. What’s the difference here? 🤔 Both are Muslim, well-educated physicians. The difference is one is Republican and the other is a Democrat. It goes to show how racist, bigoted, judgmental, shallow minded and hypocritical Republicans really are. Vote Abdul El-Sayed who will honor and uphold the Constitution and represent his constituents best interests! #VoteBlue #VoteBlueToSaveDemocracy

Wherever you are, please take a moment today to send Canada warm thoughts & wishes for those Canadian soldiers who lost their lives in the training accident. If you can spare a little kindness in your interactions I'm certain it would be appreciated. Thanks.
Stay strong Canada.

David Beckham was recently quoted saying this about his son Brooklyn:
“He shows no interest in working, yet he still had access to my card. I didn’t pay much attention to the charges until a $1,800 withdrawal appeared. When I looked into everything, I found he had spent more than $9,000 in a single week on designer clothes and various luxury items. I immediately contacted my team and froze the card. After that, I cut off his access to my accounts.”

BREAKINGNEWS; BBC has subpoenaed Former Special Council Jack Smith in a Deposition to protect themselves agaisnt Trumps lawsuit.
Jack Smith hasn't refused appearing. 🚨
Harry is NO longer the spare. He just is refusing to accept this isn't he?
Harry has leaked that he hates what he has done to his life through his unprofessional slob of a PR rep Liam Maguire.
Harry said: I hate being a former Royal.
Well maybe Harry should have thought of that before he did everything he has done and continues to do to this day.
IT IS OVER HARRY. O-V-E-R.
Being the biological son of the King meant that Harry was blessed with a wonderful opportunity to support the present and future monarchs in a valuable role for life undertaking true good works and humble service drawing attention not to oneself but to worthy causes for the benefit of those in need and, indeed, the entire community as we see with Catherine’s series on the importance of nature.
Harry chose to reject this opportunity and then reject it again after the year’s grace period his grandmother generously afforded him. Harry has since gone on to display his complete lack of suitability for any official or public facing role and he has, by any measure, committed treason. So, King’s son or not, Harry is no longer a Royal in the fullest sense of the word.
Only people with decency, dignity, respect, honesty and humility represent the Monarch.
One is required to faithfully follow all rules, guidelines and protocols appropriate for such a position and to adhere to all the laws of the land.
It has been the case throughout history that occasionally the offspring of a Monarch is manifestly unsuitable and incapable of representing the Monarchy and undertaking any form of public service.
Harry, who is now a private citizen for the remainder of the term of his natural life and a former working Royal who used to represent the Monarch, is refusing to accept the reality of his situation which has been brought about entirely by his own actions.
This recalcitrance, belligerence and irrationality that Harry has repeatedly demonstrated in the most antisocial manner all of his life is one of the main reasons he is not fit for any official or public roles, responsibilities and duties. Indeed, it is what brought him to the series of poor decisions that have put him in the position he is in now.
Even more disturbing is the fact that it has become painfully clear that Harry and Meghan have no feeling for others at all. The public have observed in disgust, horror and astonishment at the malevolent, exploitative and uncivilized way in which Harry and Meghan have treated and disposed of their own families, including the elderly and those suffering from cancer, successive teams of staff, friends and the public.
Many consider them both to be severely disordered in terms of their mental and emotional health and in terms of their personalities. Sadly such people often cause untold destruction for others everywhere they go just as Harry and Meghan have done.
Additionally many are very concerned about their alleged drug use rightly arguing such individuals are not fit for any form of public interaction especially involving the sick, suffering, vulnerable and children.
It is sad that Harry and Meghan are in this state for before they abandoned and rejected their Royal roles, duties and a life of humble service to others many had high hopes for them as part of the Monarchy. Once they left the public started to see the horrible truth about them both in the press statements, the podcasts, the book, the interviews, the series and elsewhere. With the exception of a scant few who have political agendas, as soon as the public saw the truth about them they disliked and rejected them wholeheartedly.
One wonders how long Harry and Meghan will continue carrying on this very costly charade depleting what is likely to be their ever-dwindling resources now they have burned their bridges with everyone, shown themselves to be incompetent “fucking grifters”, as the head of Spotify said, and wasted the fortune his mother and great grandmother left him on 24/7 pointless PR.
Good grief she certainly thinks quite alot of herself.

Steve Schmidt on what Dems must tell Trump when they retake Congress:
•You will not keep the Qatari jet. We will legislate against its transfer to you, your foundation or your presidential library.
•We will block authorization & funding for your victory arch.
•We will appropriate no $$ to finish your ballroom. We will advance legislation to remove it & rebuild the East Wing.
•We will replant the trees, restore the public grounds, remove your ornamental vanity alterations & gilded Trump crappola.
I would add to this the following :
1. We will develop and pass legislation to cancel the disastrous Citizens United decision and prohibit corporations and other organizations and any individual who is not a registered voter from contributing in any way to electoral campaigns.
2. We will prohibit lobbying by corporations, businesses, political organizations, or religious organizations.
3. We will prohibit the sale of arms or ammunition to Israel.
4. We will abolish ICE.
5. We will end the electoral college and elect the president by popular vote.
6. No person who has been convicted of any criminal offense will be eligible to run as a candidate for any federal office.
7. All Americans will be provided with the same healthcare that Congress provides for its members.
8. Members of Congress and other elected officials will receive their salaries only for the time served and their pensions will be from Social Security as provided for all citizens

The Republican-controlled board of elections shut down the 1 early voting site at North Carolina A&T University—a historically Black college—so students marched an hour to vote.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THESE STUDENTS FOR FIGHTING BACK. WE MUST ALL DO THE SAME.
Appears to be absolutely MASSIVE protests all across the US yesterday and this platform is so skewed to the Trump/Putin side that this is the first I've seen or heard of it.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The montage uses recycled footage from larger 2025 and March 2026 No Kings protests, not Oct 17 2026 Vote Early events. Those were smaller localized gatherings (hundreds to thousands per city) focused on early voting, not the massive crowds shown.
