A Visit to Bedlam is now available on kindle. It's been a definite slog writing this one, mostly done on Thursdays when my lovely godmum came to look after mum for me. It's darker and a bit different, but I hope fans of the series enjoy it! amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0HB…

I don't scrub up too bad 🤷‍♂️

Despite my weight completely plateauing at 14:12lb (6ft4) no matter what I do, I have had to make a new hole on my belt to hold my jeans up 🥳 not sure how that works 🤷‍♂️

Cab booked in a couple of hours, everything is ready, recycling put out for tomorrow 😃 I can chill out for a bit.

My parents were in Liverpool staying with my godfather and about to emigrate to Canada when Aberfan happened. I know it hit them both, knowing someone killed and then leaving the UK. They were only 22 😲

Cold and grey, off to Bristol today, got to pop into school tomorrow to pick some stuff up, and niece's birthday in the evening 🥳 Not sure how she's 19, she's still about 7 in my mind 🤣

I genuinely loved Playschool as a kid, like a British sesame street w'out Muppets.

I have that itchy brain feeling that I should be doing something, but everything is done 🤷‍♂️ Sonewhere along the line I lost my ability to enjoy doing nothing...

Clearly the healthy diet didn't happen tonight 🤣😋

That's me done for the day 😊 I pretty much have the plot/antagonists/history and series continuity balanced... I think 🤔

Mountain and shop done, everything packed ready for tomorrow, back to the second civil war this afternoon 😊

I have a day off 🥳

Watching the Aberfan doc on BBC. One of my Mum's friend/bridesmaid Marjorie was killed teaching in the school, in her first job after college. It was a point mam always made every year: 'murdered by the NCB'

I made chilli for supper, it was very nice but I suspect I put too much chilli powder in... I'll find out in the morning 😱

Home, everything sorted, think I shall get up the mountain in the sunshine ☺️ Tomorrow is a writing day 🥳

My mate Nigel on hearing of my photo dilemma: 'Use the one of you in a suit, that's an author headshot. The topless beach one is your album cover...' 🤣

Done my emails, best I get ready to catch a bus to town... 😬 Tomorrow is my one free day this week 😊

I finally stuck the heating on 🥶
