Tom had his eyes close during the warp and after it. He ASSUMES he was facing the correct way when the two were out. “So I have been informed by Shade that work on my device has finished.” Wrong shadow. Wrong way.

Zero to none, but Eclipso isn't gonna stop him. They know it won't open for him, but they want to see their reaction. There is a small platform in front of the currently locked chamber door. Stepping on it will push it down, but it'll only do so when it detects certain ⏤
