Immigration is not merely a national issue. It is very much a local government issue aswell.
Yes, Immigration Laws sit with national government, but municipalities carry the implications/consequences: housing, jobs, clinics, schools, infrastructure, service delivery and municipal budgets all absorb the pressure.
As we approach the Local Government Elections, no intelligent/thinking party can afford to ignore it.
You cannot fix municipalities without addressing immigration.
