I see the Green Party has asked members not to use the word ‘nutter’. How would they prefer to be addressed?

The classical Indian nature of the guitar solo is particularly striking in the early take here. Just wonderful.
Astonishing that Burnham chose Miliband, a man who managed to fuck up the global power balance and ensure Assad slaughtered his own people whilst only *Leader of the Opposition* to be Foreign Secretary. Let’s see what new catastrophes he can cause with some proper power.
Funny listening to Fiona Bruce gushing and fawning over the monarchical aspects of our constitution, but sneering that Burnham is somehow “unelected”, despite having the confidence of the democratically elected House.
FIFA now hoping to overturn the Belgium USA result as one of the teams fielded an ineligible player.
The last time I stayed up all night after watching Norway beat Brazil 2:1 in a World Cup match, it was to catch the first train back to Montpelier from Marseille.
Burnham seems to be approaching his imminent elevation with the same level headed insouciance Paul Gasgoine displayed walking out to the 1991 FA cup final. I’m sure it will all go just as well.
Two improvements @FIFAWorldCup could make, but won’t. Ban players leaving, or non-players joining the pitch to celebrate a goal. Ban all forms of prayer on the pitch.
As long as such well meaning but hopelessly uninformed western leaders fund this malign organisation dedicated to maintaining the permanent refugee status of those in Gaza and the delegitimising of Israel, all in the region will continue to suffer the consequences.
The situation in Gaza is desperate. Today the UK is announcing £23m for @UNRWA to deliver vital support including food, water, education and medical support for Palestinian refugees.
There must be more aid, all crossings opened, and humanitarian agencies able to operate safely.
