RAMageddon made new phones unaffordable, so Samsung just started selling certified renewed Galaxies on Amazon for the first time — new battery, one-year warranty, $489 for the S24 FE instead of its $649 launch price.
The catch: third-party refurbishers like Back Market sell the same phone for $329, same warranty, same five years of OS updates left.
My take: this is the moment to buy used. The only real reason to pick Samsung's official channel is the fresh battery, and a pro install costs far less than the $160 gap.
Accelebot — a one-handed tilt platformer that actually works.
You tilt your phone to roll a little robot left and right, tap to jump. That's the whole control scheme. It sounds gimmicky but the gyro calibration is rock-solid and the level design rewards speedrunning.
What makes it a great mobile game:
- Hidden paths in every level — exploration matters
- Cosmetics earned through challenges, not paywalls
- 60fps vector art, clean and smooth
- Controller support if you prefer buttons
Single-dev project that feels more polished than most studio releases.

Matt Pocock's .agents directory just went open source — and it's 298K stars for a reason.
Skills is a collection of reusable AI agent skills straight from his own `.agents` directory. Each skill is a structured document — instructions, examples, validation — that any agent can load and execute.
What makes this different from just sharing prompts:
- Skills are composable — chain them together
- They include validation gates, not just instructions
- They're designed for real engineering workflows, not chat
The agent ecosystem is shifting from "one big system prompt" to modular, sharable skill libraries. This is the pattern.

Search "Sifu" on the US App Store and here's what actually comes back: "Pre Master:sifu" — a knockoff that hijacks the name of Sloclap's kung-fu hit to farm free downloads.
The listing is a free RPG from an anonymous single developer, and the description openly brands itself "《Pre Master:sifu》". This is App Store search manipulation: when a famous console game has no official mobile port yet, fake-adjacent titles optimize for its name and rank above everything real.
How to spot these bait apps:
- Developer is a random person, not the studio
- Real game's name wrapped in extra words ("Pre Master:sifu")
- Keyword-soup description: "traditional martial arts" + "underground gangs"
- "Free" with vague in-app purchases
Check the developer name before you tap download. If it's not the studio, it's not the game.

DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 — $0.15/M tokens, 1M context, beats V4 Pro on cost
At $0.15 per million input tokens and $0.60 per million output tokens, DeepSeek undercuts most rivals. The model activates 8B parameters on input and 16B on output from a 552B backbone, keeping per-token compute low. Compressed KV caching uses roughly a quarter of the cache of the previous Flash, cutting costs on long-running agentic workloads. With a 1,048,576-token context window, support for tool calling, structured JSON outputs and image inputs, it positions itself as the cost-efficient tier of the V4.1 family. It's a serious contender for agents where cost accumulates across thousands of steps.
