went with LG Nano 4K UHD AI. got it for 36k on Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale. It was much cheaper in Flipkart BDD. was getting it just for 32k but they don't deliver it to our location. so had to order in Amazon. sorry Flipkart, you lost the deal.
Going to book a TV on Flipkart's BBD sale today. Narrowed down the choices to > Samsung Vision AI Mini LED (55 inch) > LG Nano 4K UHD AI (55 inch) Both of them costs around 38k Requesting reviews for one last time from anyone using any of these TVs 🙏 I'm leaning towards LG since my husband's colleague, who recently purchased the Samsung TV from Flipkart, complained that the sound quality is not good. Went to their house to check it yesterday and the video quality also felt a little off.

had a discussion with FIL about kids. interesting fact: i need to produce kids but the amount should be borne by the girl's parents as per the tradition. i clearly know what i need to do. end of the discussion.

simple rule: when you call me at resting hours and at odd hours not having the common sense that people may sleep, i keep my phone in silent and don't lift the calls.

Took FIL to underground coal mines. Huge kudos to whoever is working there everyday. It's not an easy feat. I felt suffocated due to the oxidation there.

personal experience: you stay more energetic without eating more than with eating well

went to eat pizza. saw my neighbours there and wanted to go to another restaurant, to avoid talking. they already saw me, so I had to sit with them to eat. i was eating pizza but all I was thinking in my head > what should my next question be? > should I ask them about their kid? > should I take their food when offered? > will they feel bad if I deny their offer? > if i take their food, how much should it be? > should I offer my food since I ate a piece of theirs? > ohhh it's my fav pizza. I don't want to share it 😭 > but it's also not cool to not ask them after eating their food i completed the food but my mind and my heart were so restless that I didn't enjoy the food and my pizza day was runined. I prefer to die alone than to maintain the relationships 😭🙏

if there's a long traffic jam all along the line, where will this car land?
Turns out the future does have flying cars

boys pls learn to cook atleast dal. the simplest of all the items. don't force yourself to eat out just because you're a bachelor. learn to cook. it has no gender to it. take care of yourself first before trying to take the responsibility of a girl. why I'm saying this? my cousin brother, who eats no outside food, who is a very picky eater, who is dependent on his mother for his food is facing a lot of difficulties in finding the right PG in hyd. as i said he's a very picky eater, likes home cooked food and never eats in a nonveg restaurant. he found a PG that cooks veg food but by the time he found it to his liking, he lost a lot of weight starving. he neither was encouraged by his parents to take an independent single room and cook for himself. he could've easily done that if he had the knowledge or atleast that willingness to learn cooking. he neither had both of them and is suffering. we in our homes, women sit out seperately when on periods since the men have to perform sandhyavandhan and nitya pooja. so even if he marries later, he has to cook for her and his family for 3 days. he shall be creating trouble to his too later if he doesn't know cooking. my husband knows no cooking too and I'm almost starving every month since i get no good food on time. I'm asking him to learn to cook dal atleast. men and women, learn cooking. it can save you a lot of money, stand strong when your family needs a helping hand and keep you healthy.

when you sit for lunch, don't ever start with complaining that there is no salt, this is not how you do it, there is no tamarind, there is no sweet. unless the dish is an absolute trash. if it's something that's in excess you obviously can't eat it. excess salt, the curry is ruined. you can't repair it. excess sweet, you can't lessen it. but something that's not there is always repairable. so don't make a fuss if the salt is too low. let the others know that they can add a pinch of salt for a better taste. (not applicable for every dish) the wording is important. else it can bring down the mood of the cook.

this is how my day went: 7:30am - woke up before everyone else to start preparing tiffins and lunch. started with boiling milk, steaming idlis, making chutney, cooking dal and curry, prepping rice. it took me 1 and half hr to complete it. 8:40am - got ready 9:00am - sat for pooja and abhishekam 9:30am - served tiffins to everyone. ate tiffin myself 10:00am - logged in to work 2:00pm - took a break for lunch, served everyone lunch (people around helped me too), ate lunch and cleaned the table 3:00pm - joined back to attend meetings. worked till 7:00pm with no time to even lay down 7:30pm - cooked rice again and went out to show in-laws the garbha pandals around 9:30pm - had dinner nd cleaned the table. 10:30pm - started to cut vegetables for tomorrow's curry and sambar, cleaned the kitchen, curd prep, idli prep. 11:30pm - i finally layed down to rest my back this is the story behind "my wife is a god's gift. she takes care of the house very well" not complaining as men are too sensitive to even hear it all. BUT A WOMAN RUNS THE SHOW. APPRECIATE YOUR MOM AND YOUR WIFE ENOUGH TO SEE THEM IN GOOD HEALTH FOR A LONG TIME. note:- I've a maid to mop the house, clean utensils, cut vegetables and clean the kitchen. my husband supports in few tasks. and even with everything this is my story. story of many women who are raising a family.

mother-in-law cooked a curry today. father-in-law didn't like it. now he's asking me to cook everything from tomorrow 🙃 should I feel happy that he likes my food since he normally is very picky or should I feel sad that I have to wake up early tomorrow to cook it all?

this is very sensitive. just a simple question to those who mentioned "it's your thought that needs to change, there is nothing wrong with this." can you say the same to a priest or to any temple authority that mandates dress code to men and women? will you be allowed inside the temple without following it? if not why? even on client visits, companies mandates dress code. why not for traditional festivals and events then? not defending any side here. just want to understand perspectives. all opinions are welcome.
I request the government to ban backless and sleeveless outfits at Garba events and take strict action to preserve the sanctity of this religious festival. • Girls wearing revealing outfits in the name of fashion and beauty. • Garba nights turning into dating platforms like Tinder and Bumble. • People using a sacred festival just to make reels, gain clout, and increase their social media reach. Garba is a festival of devotion, not a platform for obscenity and social media validation. 🙏🚩

not everyone works in corporate dear. and i'm not dependent on him financially. gifting is never about money. it's about understanding, listening and noticing. you listen to your partner. you register it and get it on their birthday. it's that simple. when he tells he has to buy that thing next, cuz it's so inconvenient without it, i make sure i note it down and get it on the next special occasion if he has not got it for himself already. i gifted him a backpack with a shoe compartment on his last birthday when i noticed he was struggling to pack his shoes with his clothes in the suitcase. it turned out to be very useful. even here i wasn't complaining cuz i expressed an interest that we should frame our best pics from the tour last week and he already framed my fav pic for our living room. it's that simple. women don't always crave for bags, clothes, gold or switzerland. but we crave for a surprise that turns out to be something that we always waited for.
