The Malaysia Blockchain Consortium is officially forged!🇲🇾
Nov 21st, we brought together institutional leaders, pioneers & innovators to formalize the national body shaping Malaysia's blockchain future.
The real work starts now. Let's build. 🔨
During his visit to Dushanbe, our CEO @0xHarpreet met the team at HABTEX, a young Tajikistan-based technology company working across product development, AI and cybersecurity.
The conversation focused on fintech. HABTEX is looking to bring more fintech expertise into a broader digital platform, including products designed around Islamic finance principles, an area where Malaysia has deep experience. We also discussed how blockchain can sit alongside existing systems rather than replace them, and why starting with one well-chosen pilot use case works better than trying to change everything at once.
We share HABTEX’s view that sovereign solutions should be built with local engineering talent. Both sides agreed to follow up with a call and to continue the conversation.
Thank you to the HABTEX team for their time and for the thoughtful discussion.
Our CEO @0xHarpreet Singh Maan met the Chairman of Tajikistan’s State Committee on Investment and State Property Management in Dushanbe.
The Chairman outlined the country’s investment priorities, which include energy, tourism, agriculture, transport and logistics, education and healthcare, and the preferences available to investors. He also noted the government’s interest in AI and technology development.
Harpreet set out TEIZA’s approach: focus on the soft layer of digital infrastructure, meaning software, policy, blockchain and AI, and support it with training and knowledge transfer so that local banks, startups and institutions can build on it. The Chairman offered the committee’s support and connections to sector agencies.
Thank you to the Chairman and his team for their time and openness.
Our CEO Harpreet Singh Maan met the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of Tajikistan in Dushanbe to discuss cooperation on digital finance, blockchain and AI, and the talent and training needed to support them.
Both sides were keen to continue the conversation.
Our CEO @0xHarpreet met representatives of Tajikistan’s Ministry of Energy and Water Resources in Dushanbe to exchange views on how digital infrastructure can support transparent, trustworthy data sharing and resource management between stakeholders.
Thank you to the ministry team for their time and thoughtful questions.
“Tajikistan can combine both lessons: trusted money and a trusted digital state, with blockchain and AI built in from the start.”
Our CEO @0xHarpreet spoke at the G10 Insights Forum in Dushanbe on 15 October, on “Digital Tajikistan: the heart of Central Asia’s digital economy.”
The idea: each country owns its network and connects to the world on its own terms.
