So I checked Russian state media this morning, and the war criminals seem to be laying the groundwork to use chemical weapons against Ukrainians again. Specifically in Kramatorsk and Sloviansk olgalautman.substack.com/p/i…

They should be concerned. It's the key diagnostic question: what happens when effective biological treatment is found? Their whole model collapses & the reality that they are gaslighting patients will be clear.
1 🇳🇴) In this Norwegian study, therapists using a psychosomatic approach to ME/CFS expressed "concern about how current approaches might be viewed if future research were to establish a treatable biological dysfunction."

Things that would be nice and are needed. 1. EBV vaccine, either one that prevents it or one that locks it in. 2. Antivirals that work, that prevent infection primarily. 3. Regenerative supplements and probiotics. 4. Maraviroc and Azvudine being more accessible. 5. Vaccines that are better, that can prevent infection and transmission. 6. More information for the masses.

Oh, please. No matter what various intelligence services say about Ukraine, or the world, or about themselves or what people think about them, the Ukrainian people have a long time ago mentally sailed away from the idea of belonging to Moscows shadow and sphere of influence. They see no point in it and their young people are a lot more independent and want to be part of the broader world. Putin's regime just doesn't have anything attractive to offer. It's just an old dude that wants to enrich himself and get more power. He is just another bully.
🇺🇸🇺🇦🇷🇺🇪🇺 It was never about defending democracy in Ukraine. It was a CIA-backed coup and covert operation designed to provoke a Russian invasion. Russia took the bait willingly. The CIA and Russian intelligence services, including the FSB, SVR and GRU, played their respective roles in turning Ukraine into a battleground. Europe became more dependent on the FIC. The MIC profited from the war. The TIC gained a testing ground for new military and surveillance technologies. Ukrainians were the pawns. Don’t shoot the messenger. youtube.com/shorts/DxhpBWyQD…

In Sweeeden, where everything can trigger stress, we prefer talking about stress and various pseudoscientific things instead of viruses. Because according to our idiotic Public Health @Folkhalsomynd in Sweden, even viruses follow laws. That is why we can't have vaccines against Covid-19 and why people seems to think that the Swedish population is some sort of Aryan patogen resistant people (or something like that). (There is some sort of unhealthy narrow minded notion that if you live healthy - with the word "sund" being used - then you must be healthy.)
"Stress can activate inflammatory pathways" Do you know what else can trigger neuroinflammation? Any and ALL VIRUSES! If you what to understand how SARS uses the vagus nerve to dismantle your gut biome (bacteria), then just ignore the neurological dogma here. #NeuroCOVID

While I understand the arguments, I do not agree. The biological part is a issue - that is correct. But everything else is kind of skewed. Men and women need to look at each other in more ways then just a race of achievements for one sex and some sort of submission for the other. 1. We do need societies that can handle women and men having children earlier without it affecting their career and education etc. 2. Women have a 35 achieved a lot and that should not be seen as something bad, and also - similar to men they probably have matured more and might be better parents instead of outgrown teenagers. 3. What she is signalling is not only achievements, but also a drive, entreprenerialship and what she wants. 4. The alternative today that are popular on the internet seem to be that women should abstain from achievements to not become disillusioned later because they are that way holding back men. Which is a way of saying that men are not developing today. 5. A solution for many women in the same position is fairly simple - they continue to lead, but the men stay more at home and take care of the children. Why not? A couple I know has the women as the breadwinner, but they are very educated and their children probably read, write and reason at young age far better than many adults.

This might be useful at work. Also recently discovered that my boss is nicer if I push back really sharp, nearly bullying him. (Suspect he is a narcissist, and doesn’t consciously understand or respect you unless you humiliate him lightly.)
Simple management moves that people don't do nearly enough. 90 IQ minimum requirement: * Say thank you all the time, say hello to people whenever you see them * Tell people exactly what you think they need to do, with an example * Ask people why they did something that you think is dumb, before saying you think it was dumb * Give positive feedback, phrased in a way that makes it clear exactly how you want something done ("great job making that Manager hire without my direct involvement other than the final candidate pitch") * Give unmistakable constructive feedback: this is not up to standard, next time this needs to be better * Fight for more comp for your best people * Be polite * Take deep breaths in stressful moments without hyperventilating like a psycho * If you're too busy to do something, say "I'm too busy" rather than pretending you're not and dropping it I guarantee that anyone who can read all the words in this post can pull this off, and it'll make you a better manager.

… angama.bearblog.dev/3-fmd/

Typ. Same hete. Flex officers without proper information governance and software are shit.
The weekly humiliation ritual of going into the office once a week (they want me there 3 times a week). 1 hour on the train. Half the day sitting at a desk wearing headphones on virtual meetings with people who are also sitting in offices somewhere else. Lunch with two normie colleagues talking about football and which singer is dating which actor, while I’m staring into my chicken thinking about bread and circuses, currency debasement and the slow collapse of the monetary system. Then back upstairs for another virtual meeting I could have joined from my office room at home. By 3pm I’ve achieved about 20% of what I would have done at home because every attempt to focus gets interrupted by somebody wandering over for a quick chat. Then another train home. Two hours commuting, £30 poorer, zero deep work completed, and somehow more exhausted from achieving nothing. Every Tuesday is just another reminder that exiting the fiat mines remains priority number one. I genuinely cannot do this shit forever.

Everyone who has had Covid previously, which is like 99% of people, can have lower immunity to pathogens. Ca 20% get lower immunity per infection.
This is the key question. Possibilities are: 1) Darya (or Daria) had already developed antibiotic resistance (which would be an odd trait to hire around in a biolab) 2) She was immuno-compromised for some reason, or otherwise particularly vulnerable to infection (which would be an odd trait to have working in a biolab) 3) It’s some sort of enhanced bacteria 4) Darya didn’t know she was infected, nor suspected she might be (an odd situation for a professionally trained biolab worker in the circumstances described). I’m concerned about which of this points is more likely.

I guess I am pretty fucked being globally fairly tall, but living in a very tall society I am pretty short. Knew a latino really short guy ca 20 years ago, he complained that getting interest from girls was really hard. The convergence is that either we upgrade men in other ways then just physical parameters, or we get convergence that points to all the taller people. But does that mean that we will get a sort of polygami? At this point I am not sure. (But then again the effects of the SARS-2 pandemic might risk that there is a die off due to the reinfections mowing down whole populations.)
Being tall, I’ve greatly benefited from the so-called sexual liberation, but I don’t see how we can continue down that path and have a stable society. I was on vacay at an upper midrange resort some time ago, and two girls (21 and 24) cheated on their men with me in the same week. In both cases, I only learned about it after the fact. The first one gave me her instagram, and her bf was on it. The second one later told me she was seeing this guy she is still with to this day. They were on vacay with their families too! What are we even doing here

A few years ago, I spent five days in a glass conference room in Palo Alto learning how data scientists could predict what people would do. I was consulting for a company building a credit algorithm. Outside the windows were eucalyptus trees and perfect California weather, sun, low humidity, a gentle breeze. Inside were coffee cups, notepads, pencils and a lesson I have never forgotten. The instructors from UC Berkeley described how seemingly unrelated details of a person’s online behavior predict whether that person would repay a loan. One example I remember was based on if someone let their phone battery die. People who did were much more likely to default or be late in their payments, they said this one variable was almost as predictive as a normal credit score. What stayed with me was the method. The machine did not need to know why you did something. If a pattern helped predict what you would do next, it had value. Their focus was on thumb-speed, using the camera to evaluate your visual focus on the screen and how to interpret that in real time to adjust the next piece of content to be the most likely to hold your attention. I left that room thinking about credit. I should have been thinking about the rest of human life. The capacity to observe behavior and predict the next choice is the foundation of the worlds largest businesses. A platform learns what makes you pause, what makes you angry, what makes you feel recognized and what makes you reach for the phone again. It ranks the next piece of information accordingly. You supply the attention. They sell access to it. The product is not the video, the post or the photograph. The product is your continued presence through optimized design to trigger dopamine responses as your time vanishes and their bank accounts swell. Information that leaves you wiser may take ten minutes and send you back to your life. A provocation machine takes ten seconds at a time and consumes half of your life. What happens when the easiest money goes to capturing attention rather than improving a life? What is the opportunity cost of all that lost time? A person who cannot direct his own attention has less capacity to think, work, love, learn or decide what matters. The platform gets better at predicting you while you get worse at hearing yourself. This is the difference between technological power and human advancement. A tool that helps a scientist understand a disease creates value. A tool that helps a student learn creates value. A tool that helps a person find a friend creates value. But when the financial reward comes from keeping all three on a screen for as long as possible, usefulness becomes the bait for extraction. We should judge these businesses by what happens to the people who use them, not by how many hours they manage to take. Do we leave more capable? More informed? More connected to one another and to our own lives? Or do we leave agitated, dependent and ready to come back for another hit? The people in that Palo Alto room taught me that a machine can know what I am likely to do without understanding me at all. We are building an economy that calls that intelligence. I call it a warning. Subscribe: dylanratigan.substack.com

This has a point. Have only seen this mostly in women that are now like 55+. Younger ones have demands first mostly. At least in my experience and now also the last years (single) listening to female friends, colleagues and acquaintances. Men also need to be better, but all this makes it harder for people to meet.
Most women do not understand what the modern man must sacrifice to keep a relationship thriving, let alone be married. Women think, “Just show up, look pretty, havesex, and he will value you.” A man can buy that. So what do you, as a woman, bring to him that makes him want to sacrifice the work involved to keep you around? Something my mother taught me as early as I can remember is to cultivate skills that help a man navigate life better than on his own. These skills need to be so valuable that if he lost you tomorrow, his entire life would come crashing down. This is how a woman becomes valuable. And before I hear men say, “That’ll never happen,” I want you to think about this: Our economy.
Our housing market.
Children and future generations.
Health and longevity.
Quality of life. All rest in a woman’s hands if she is aware and skilled. She can make a man achieve things he wouldn’t be capable of achieving on his own if she learns these skills. If you disagree, you just haven’t experienced a skilled woman.

I would guess that Covid Conscious women are a tier above the rest.
Guys always complain about the quality of young women today Two things: #1 Most of the "women are all sluts" discourse is just social media fearmongering (Bad news sells better than good news) The truth is: -average female bodycounts have been DECREASING every decade since the 90s (see chart) -female virginity has been INCREASING the last 10 years (see chart) Yes, there are plenty of high-bodycount sluts today... But there always have been #2 High-quality women have ALWAYS been difficult to get That's part of what makes them high quality You think in the 70s or 80s you could be a deadass average 5/10 guy with a white collar job and marry an 8/10 who bears your children & loves you unconditionally? No dawg The high-quality women have ALWAYS been reserved for the high-quality men THAT'S NATURE People always have and always WILL marry within their league Put simply: If you're a 5/10 man, you will get a 5/10 woman Luckily, as a man you have the ability to push into higher and higher leagues as you improve yourself and punch well above the weight your "genetics" say you should on paper "A woman simply is, but a man must become" / Honestly, the main issue I see with young women is they keep getting fatter (Like the OP said) But men keep getting fatter too So if you're one of the few remaining in-shape men, you will still have access to the few remaining in-shape women Simple As always, the solution is in your hands: -get lean -learn game -improve yourself -increase your SMV If you want better women, BECOME A BETTER MAN If you're not getting the women you want, it's your fault Not theirs

Vetenskapsradion klotet.
