Tees Valley mayor performs at BBC Radio Tees phone-in. Regeneration in the region, we learn, has not failed. Young people now have job opportunities, with apprentices at NZT being paid £500 a day. So, high crime rates are not his problem. Our report: teesvalleymonitor.com/bombas…

The long-term high-paying jobs thing was always exaggerated. As for levelling up, in our opinion what was needed was a strategy to create a more mixed local economy. Houchen certainly never bought into that. And data centres while they are needed are not large scale employers.
Replying to @TeesVMonitor
If these Data centres do get the go ahead, won’t this blow up the levelling up programme? This was to achieve long term high paying jobs but will now show that it was just a transfers of wealth (even though the whole deal was).

Our opinion is that many MPs get on with the job of serving their constituents without a fuss and without seeking publicity. Some, however, were too quick to start yelling about bringing in the NAO to the TVCA, when, in reality, it wasn't an option.

The @UKLabour @Keir_Starmer could have investigated this 12 months ago instead he was welcomed with open arms. Is there any political party or MP that is not corrupt? Serious question
