The damage Netanyahu has done to Israel is incalculable. There has been a 67% shift in America’s attitude toward Israel over the past 8 years. That’s not because the US has become 67% more antisemitic over the past decade. It’s because of his radicalism.

NEW: Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL) just rolled out a straight to camera ad breaking with Trump. "Mr. President, some of your immigration enforcement efforts have gone too far....The same Hispanics who helped you get to the White House in 2024 feel betrayed today"

Looks as if this is the nail in the mail in ballot attempted steal
BREAKING: The Supreme Court has DENIED the Trump regime's emergency request to enforce new mail-ballot restrictions ahead of the midterm elections. The ruling leaves in place a preliminary injunction blocking the U.S. Postal Service from requiring states to submit voter information through a federal portal, obtain approval for ballot-envelope designs, and comply with new barcode requirements. Justice Kavanaugh joined the denial, writing that imposing the rule so close to the election would likely be “arbitrary and capricious” because state and local officials lack sufficient time to implement it. Justices Alito and Thomas dissented. The underlying litigation will continue, but the restrictions remain blocked for the 2026 midterms.

I really urge everyone to just read the actual Hugging Face reports and postmortems! An actual thing already happened in the world that’s totally unnerving, whatever you think about the people who work in or are quitting the frontier labs.

Right-wing influencer Laura Loomer promoted baseless theories Sunday about the apparent attack on Ohio Democratic gubernatorial nominee Amy Acton — claims that collapsed almost immediately once details about the alleged attacker began to emerge.
The Republican Party’s association with this woman is troubling. Any Republican who doesn’t denounce her is suspect. Professionals such as @kwelkernbc, @jaketapper, @DanaBashCNN and others wouldn’t possibly let their interview subjects get away without taking a position. Right?

“The rise of Limbaugh and his ilk worked out quite well for Republicans, helping them to wrench the country to the right. But it’s far from clear that Democrats either can or should follow the same template. The Republican Party is more homogeneous than the Democratic Party, so there’s less need to accommodate cultural difference within it. There are more conservatives than leftists in America, and in our system, conservative, rural areas of the country have more electoral power. Democrats will have a far harder time than Republicans building power with a stridently sectarian message.” nytimes.com/2026/08/31/opini…
