TED Army Update: Gated Picks Rollout Delayed First off, major shoutout to everyone who’s been riding with us since day one. The support has been unreal. As many of you know, today was supposed to mark the official shift: TED’s MLB picks moving from public drops to a private Telegram channel for stakers only. That’s still the plan but we’re pushing the rollout back by 3 more weeks. Why the delay? 1. It's the gating mechanics. While the staking smart contract is ready, we want wallet verification, telegram integration, and rewards distribution to be airtight. 2. We know TED’s recent performance hasn’t been ideal, but it aligns with our back tested data. This 3-week window is our chance to prove the model works overtime before fully gating picks. What’s next: • Picks will remain public on our socials for the next 3 weeks • Once staking goes live, only TED stakers will be granted access to the private Telegram channel • This delay changes nothing about the model or roadmap, just the timing of the gating We’re building for the long game. Here’s what just dropped: ✅ Doubleheader Adjustments TED now properly accounts for doubleheaders. Time-based features were tightened up to improve continuity between games. ✅ Model Architecture Optimized We tuned TED’s neural network hidden layer architecture using a Tree-Structured Parzen Estimator (TPE). Sounds nerdy — but it improved hit rates across both 2023 and 2024 seasons. TED just got sharper. ✅ Cleaner Inputs We ran regression-based feature selection to cut even more redundant data and keep only the strongest predictors. ✅ Betting Engine Update With all of the above, our updated betting engine now uses a more aggressive betting strategy that also adjusts strategy thresholds dynamically using real-time market data and model performance history. 📊 Updated 2023–2024 backtest data will be live on the performance page within 48 hours.
