Goosebumps.
For all its faults, Western Christian culture is still worth defending.

This story is beautifully written and a pleasure to read on a Sunday morning - but also a sad reminder of the inequity worsened by climate change. nola.com/news/environment/ar… via @nolanews

Jackie called yesterday from a PT session to tell me he'd "sold a book” to his nurse. I could hear the charmed woman blushing in the background. Life is good, he said.
Jackie’s indomitable spirit—so infectious—is a great gift. My only question: hardcover or paperback?
Mission accomplished.
Jackie has his Bible back and he was thrilled. He opened to his favorite verse: Hebrews 11:1 — “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
