Apple isn’t just trying to sell us another screen. It’s trying to change how we interact with our homes. HomeView combines a 7-inch Liquid Retina display with FaceTime, music, calendars, reminders and smart-home controls. What stands out to me is the ability to recognize up to six people and personalize the experience for each household member. It also features True Tone and adaptive brightness, ranging from 500 nits down to 0.3 nits, making it suitable for both bright rooms and bedside use. At $299 in the US, HomeView is a serious step into the smart-home display market. Availability begins November 13.

Battery cycle count is the number of times a battery has used a total of 100% of its capacity, not necessarily in one charge. For example, using 50% today and 50% tomorrow equals 1 charge cycle. Higher cycle counts generally mean more battery wear over time.

China going crazy with the iPhone Duo Pre-orders 😂 The way everyone’s rushing to get one, you’d think it was a limited edition. Unless you’re a tech reviewer, I honestly don’t see the need to rush. Just wait it out.

Foldables have been around since 2018, for God’s sake. I love the iPhone Duo, but calling it the best invention of 2026 is a bit of a stretch.

Apple CEO John Ternus has been working on the new iPhone Duo since 2011, filing the first patents for it over 15 years ago. He says other foldables were "cheap and crappy" and wanted to spend time creating a good product instead of rushing something out.
