Don't be selfish and think only about yourself. Be sensitive to the needs of others. If you want people to respect your time, respect theirs.

We need love, kindness and care to get through that tough week, the grey skies and storm clouds in life. For the times when things go wrong, when we feel lost, when everyone else appears to be doing well, know that the Almighty hasn’t abandoned us. He knows.

This world is temporary. You’re on a journey. You’ve not reached your final destination yet. An eternal abode awaits. The Hereafter. So quit stressing over everything that happens. Nothing lasts. Let the Almighty take over after you’ve done your best.

You’ve heard the verse: “Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear.” But almost no one talks about the next verse that comes right after it… & that part is the actual LIFE CHANGER

Sometimes, as human beings, we fall into the habit of forming opinions about others too quickly. We hear a story, witness a moment, or see a single action—and we let our hearts assume. But we often forget that only Allah sees the full picture. Only He knows what lies within a person’s heart: their intentions, their struggles, and the silent battles they fight behind closed doors. In reflecting on this, I’m reminded of my own imperfections—the sins only Allah knows, the shortcomings I conceal, and the moments of weakness that happen in private. If He, in His infinite Mercy, continues to cover and forgive me despite my flaws, then who am I to look down on someone else? Islam teaches us humility, compassion, and husn ad-dhann—to have good thoughts of others. We were not placed on this Earth to judge one another, but to walk with kindness, to uplift, and to remind each other of Allah’s mercy. So now, I remind myself: Who am I to judge another, when I, too, walk imperfectly? May Allah forgive us, guide us, and purify our hearts. Ameen.

Every night of Ramadan is a door. Some walk past it. Some knock. And some enter with tears and come out forgiven. Almighty, protect us from Hellfire and grant us Your Forgiveness.

Ramadan is almost over. Don't waste the most blessed nights of Ramadan in that which is sinful or futile. Engage in prayer, remembrance, recitation, repentance and charity. Make the most of the blessings.

Don’t ask the Almighty for help only as the last resort. Call out to Him repeatedly with prayer and supplication at times of ease and at times of hardship. The combination of gratitude (sabr) and patience (shukr) is what benefits us most.

There's a version of your life where that thing never happened. Where the loss didn't come. Where the door opened when you wanted it to. Allah knows that version. He sees every alternative history your life could have taken. And He still wrote this one for you. Not because He doesn't care — but because He knows something about this path that you don't. You're not the writer. You're not even the reader. You're the book being authored. And you don't know what chapter you're in yet. Watch episode 16 of ''The Name I Need'': yqn.io/75w2

O Allāh, forgive me my shortcomings, my ignorance, and my excesses in my affairs. You know my condition better than I know myself. O Allāh, forgive me for what I have done seriously and what I have done in jest, for what I have done unintentionally and what I have done deliberately. All of this exists within me. O Allāh, forgive me for what I have done in haste and what I have delayed, for what I have done in private and what I have done in public. You know these matters better than I know myself. You are the First and the Last, and over all things You are All-Powerful.

If your life feels like it's spiraling out of your control, follow along with this du'a. Ya Mu’min, grant me faith that no fear can shake. Secure my heart in Your promise, and guard my soul from every whisper that breeds doubt. Let my trust in You be heavier than any worry that visits me. Ya Muhaymin, the Watchful One who never sleeps, watch over me in the moments that no one else can. Protect me from what I can and cannot see, and be my shield from even what I see but cannot change. Ya Hafeedh, preserve my faith through trial and time. Guard my loved ones when they are far away from me. Keep safe the blessings I forgot to thank You for, and protect me, for without You, I cannot protect myself. Ya Wakeel, I entrust to You my every matter, what I seemingly can handle, and that which is obviously beyond my control. Take charge of what confuses me, carry what I cannot hold, and make Your plan more beloved to me than even my own, for You are enough for me, no matter what else I own. “Hasbi Allah wa ni’amal wakeel” isn’t something you whisper after everything collapses. It’s what you say when the test results haven’t come back yet, when your job feels unstable, when your reputation is being questioned and you can’t defend yourself, when the outcome is still hanging in the air and your chest feels tight. Trusting Allah doesn’t mean you stop trying. It means you prepare, you show up, you speak when you need to, and still recognize who actually controls the result. Your hands keep working, but your heart is settled. When you trust Him like that, fear starts to loosen its grip. Watch Episode 12 of The Name I Need: yqn.io/r833
