Topic: Closing out the School Year/EOY Best Practices #EBRTechieTalk
Q5: How are you supporting your diverse learners (i.e. ESL, ESS, GT) with test preparation? @edtechebr #EBRTechieTalk
A5: Supporting diverse learners is important. We don’t want to leave any of our learners out. Immersive reader provides read aloud accommodations for learners. #EBRTechieTalk
🗣Q5 (Last question) coming up in 1 minute! @edtechebr #EBRTechieTalk
A4: My last testing grade taught was 5th grade. I sent Nearpod review codes, Zearn, Khan Academy, Kahoots, and standard-based game sites as review. #EBRTechieTalk
Q4: What digital resources are you sharing with parents? @edtechebr #EBRTechieTalk
A3: My favorite Edtech Tool is @Nearpod to use for test prep. Nearpod allows you to have a lot of variety and engagement during test prep. Also, it allows me to quickly assess areas that I may need to reteach. #EBRTechieTalk
Q3: What's your favorite edtech tool for test preparation? @edtechebr #EBRTechieTalk
A2: To avoid burnout on learners I had to get real creative. We did checkers, Plickers, team competitions, Time to Climb, Kahoot,& bowling. For checkers class was split into two teams. If you got the question right you get to move your checker. #EBRTechieTalk
Q2: How can we make test prep fun? @edtechebr #EBRTechieTalk
Q1: How are you preparing your students for state testing? @edtechebr #EBRTechieTalk
A1: My motto was to teach from bell to bell, provide intervention, reteach, and watch the growth at the end. No stress placed on testing. #EBRTechieTalk
