I’ve been at #Starwest for exactly 3 mins and the @queenofcode is already dropping GEMS about how to get your resume even SEEN these days! 1. Tie your impact into specific business outcomes WITH numbers “reduced engineering time from 14 days to 3 hours” 2. Say what YOU did, not your team “Responsible for creating …” 3. Jam keywords from the JD into your resume and tailor for the specific job 4. Ask AI for help, “I want you to apply for this job with this resume. How can I improve my chances?”

What an amazing adventure to keynote the first ever #AIConUS by @TechWell! People still have LOTS of questions about how Gen AI works under-the-hood, how to get data in order, what are some good scenarios for AI, what are NOT good scenarios for AI, how do you test AI to make sure the outputs are legit, and how to drive adoption in business. My homework for people starting out: 1. Learn some technical details of how AI works via courses & videos (I like Deeplearning.ai) 2. Use in something that doesn’t impact others for a month 3. Use in things that impacts some people for a month 4. Figure out what your niche area will be and write down some scenarios and prompts 5. Share with others!
