🚨 I am learning IT Support & Cybersecurity from scratch no degree, no certs (yet), no fancy background.
Just a laptop, free resources, and grit.
This is my journey from 0 to Cybersecurity Analyst 🧵
I came across an article about beginners in tech learning the wrong way by trying to study the basics first or learning theory as a beginner. These articles say it's better to learn by getting one's hands dirty with practical, hands-on practice. Starting this.

Simulated a support ticket today.
Issue: Excessive data usage.
First step wasn’t “reset phone”, it was identifying apps using background data.
Support is about diagnosis first.
Today I finally understood the difference between TCP and UDP, and it clicked in a way it never did before.
TCP is the careful one. It checks every packet, puts them in order, resends missing ones, and only starts after a proper handshake....

Starting a tiny networking lab. Learned how DNS and IPs work, and ran nslookup for chatgpt.com. Follow this step-by-step if you want to practice too. #ITSupport #Networking #networkingisfun
Quick fix tip: if nslookup returns "No address", try switching DNS to a public server like 8.8.8.8 (Google) or 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare), then run nslookup again.

A heartbreaking day for football and the entire sporting world.
Rest in peace, Diogo Jota, gone far too soon. 💔💔💔

Imposter syndrome hit HARD today 😅
Saw job postings requiring 5+ years experience for 'entry-level' roles
But then I remembered: Every expert was once a beginner
We're not behind – we're on our own timeline ⏰
Who else needs this reminder today?

Day 1 of CISCO NetAcad Done 🎉
Learned: What is a network protocol?
My explanation: It's like traffic rules for data, everyone follows the same rules so communication works smoothly.
What networking concept confused you most when starting?
