I post on:
– phones and foldables
– laptops and gadgets
– Apple / Samsung / Google
– AI only when it ships in a product you can buy
If the price doesn’t match the hardware, I’ll say it.
Google kills Chromebooks (at least the premium ones). The HP Googlebook 14 and its siblings are Android laptops now, priced like MacBook Airs, aimed at Android users who don't need Windows. Gutsy move.
HP Googlebook 14: Snapdragon X Elite, 2.8K OLED, 19-hour battery, 1.24kg weight. All the specs of a high-end ultrabook. The catch: it runs Googlebook OS, not Windows or macOS.

The HP Googlebook 14 starts at $1,299. That's premium laptop pricing for a machine running Android instead of Windows. Google's betting that deep phone integration and Gemini are enough to justify the jump from $200-400 Chromebooks.

Apple killed the $199 Apple TV 4K tier. You now get one config at $299. That's not an upgrade—that's removing choice. #tech
The new Apple TV 4K A19 chip is faster, Siri AI works hands-free, and the remote finds itself. But it costs $100 more with fewer configuration options than last year.

Apple TV 4K just jumped from $199-$249 to $299. Same $100 price as HomeView. Customers now have to choose which one they actually want. #Apple #streaming

The 2026 Kindle Colorsoft got a complete display overhaul with new LEDs and micro-deflectors. Paper-like feel, better color and brightness.
techtreck.tech/posts/amazon-…
Amazon's Kindle refresh ditches raised bezels for flush screens across all three models. Colorsoft now $289.99, Signature Edition $319.99. Ships Oct 28.

Surface Pro 12 (2nd Edition) gets Snapdragon X2 Plus, 500-nit display, and optional 5G. It also loses its budget option 16GB minimum now.
The Surface Pro 12 (2nd Edition) jumps to $1,149.99 starting October 13—a 35% price hike from the original model.

Microsoft's new Surface Pro 12 is fanless and 25% brighter. It also costs $100-$300 more than last year. That's the whole trade-off.

Whats happening , i guess all I can talk about is Apple , am really tired of talking about this non-innovative company , can elon make the algorithm more tech innovative not a company that makes new colours of a phone every year and give it a new number with a price tag that doesn’t match the product they are even offering, you need changes now , i want more of xiaomi duplicating Apple products into android versions , some cool things like nothing foldable, nothing laptop and a new Cmf ecosystem, and many many more
Ransomware attacks in Japan just hit a record high for the first half of 2026. Cybercrime isn't slowing down anywhere — it's just getting better funded. 🔒💻

An Anthropic safety researcher just put the odds AI could cause a human-extinction-level event within 10 years at over 10%. That's not internet doomerism — that's coming from inside a top AI lab. ⚠️

AI isn't just writing news anymore — it's building entire fake newsrooms and inventing fictional journalists to manufacture social reach. The information ecosystem has a new kind of ghost in it. 👻📰
