The fact that Mike Johnson is intentionally keeping congress from convening while the president commits blatant treason with Russia, is also blatantly treasonous.

Dan Rather is spot-fucking-on. Since Trump measures everything through the lens of ratings, I'm sure he'll be very proud when his livestreamed treason trial breaks the internet.

Trump: I have the highest Christian vote in history. I know more than anyone. I am going to lead Christians into the greatest time of Christianity than no one else can do. I am shocked that after watching this so many Christians still support this man. This is the closest we have ever got to the anti-Christ.

by the way, the fact that they keep giving him these tests means that they are not trying to figure out if he has dementia. They already know that. They are monitoring the rate of his decline.

Donald Trump has spent forty years telling us he's the greatest dealmaker alive, and the evidence is a book he didn't write. Armed with that, he marches into century-old conflicts with the preparation of a five-year-old at a chess tournament and the confidence of a man who's never lost anything except casinos, an airline, and the popular vote twice. The results speak for themselves. He's sold out America to Russia, pitched beachfront hotels on the rubble of Gaza, and signed a diesel deal with Moscow while the war it's funding is still going. He got Greenland, triumphantly, and never noticed he'd been handed the same 1951 defense agreement the US already had, rewritten in a bigger font. The best bit is what the actual author said afterwards. Tony Schwartz, the ghostwriter, called the book lipstick on a pig, said he'd title it The Sociopath today, and admitted he invented the phrase "truthful hyperbole" to dress up the lying. The man has a black belt in lying, and it's the only one he's ever earned. The one deal Trump ever closed was getting someone else to make him sound clever.
Republican Senator Thom Tillis: “Putin is playing President Trump like a fiddle. And history is not going to look good on an America that failed to rise up and defend the Western world.”

This is disinhibition in a nutshell. He had several of these outbursts today. Eventually he will hit somebody on camera. Mark my words. Disinhibition is the most common symptom of behavioral frontotemporal dementia.

COVID taught me three things, one of them good, two of them terrible: 1. The good people are far better than I realized. 2. The bad people are vastly worse than I realized. 3. The stupid people are stunningly more stupid than I realized. Get vaccinated.

I don’t understand why farmers need an endless series of welfare payments from the rest of us since Trump took office. Aren’t his policies working for you? You need us to pay you so you will keep voting for the guy who is failing you? Don’t you believe in free market capitalism?

Today, at an Oval Office presser, Trump was in rare form, with a rapid-fire assault of falsehoods, hyperboles, and threats. He said Rep. Omar needed to be jailed, Rep. Slotkin needed to be tried, he insulted Somalians and immigrants in general, and attacked the press multiple times, asking one reporter what is wrong with them, telling another to Shhh! and growling "Quiet!" to another. Anyone who witnessed this would clearly conclude that the biggest story on Earth, this day and every day, is that the President of the United States is seriously unwell and allowed to continue in office - unfit, untethered, and unchecked. It is unbelievable, unfathomable, and unacceptable.

NEWS: While working at Trump’s Justice Department, Alina Habba accepted a $50 million bribe to help a billionaire banker charged with bribery get a pardon from Trump. Weeks after she started cashing his checks, Trump handed him a full pardon, and nobody in this administration batted an eye. Lock them all up and throw away the key.

The greatest intelligence failure in American history may not have been a foreign operation. It may have been America's inability to protect itself from its own president. For years, the evidence of Trump's extraordinary loyalty to Moscow has been mounting. His admiration for Putin, his attacks on NATO, his possession of highly classified American defence secrets, and his repeated willingness to advance Russian interests. Yet the most extraordinary part of this entire scandal is the American state itself. The FBI, the intelligence community, Congress and the entire national security apparatus have proved incapable of protecting the country from a president whose conduct has repeatedly raised profound questions about his loyalty. Russia spent decades trying to defeat the United States from the outside. Now Putin can watch an American president dismantle the Western order from within. And the institutions built to defend America have been unable to stop him. What an extraordinary national humiliation.

Not a day goes by without Trump and his cabinet of cocksplats embarrassing this nation. No administration in U.S. history has humiliated itself more than this corrupt, authoritarian shitshow. In fact, the most honest JD Vance has ever been was the day he branded Trump "America's Hitler." But as journalists lose their fear of the psychotic ass-tick and finally call out his relentless lies and bullshit, the threat of fascism weakens — and democracy grows stronger.

Trump has thrown in the towel, given up. He no longer wants to pretend to be President. His speeches are rehashed nonsense. He just wants to talk about vanity projects. He lets his mind wander, in public, to homoerotic fantasies. He isn’t hiding his allegiance to Putin and his abandonment of America and her friends. His scams are all exposed. He is a sick, tired, old queen who can’t keep the mask on. But, he’s still very dangerous because the more he can hurt others, the better he feels.

Classic dementia symptom from Trump. He can’t remember the word “campaigning” and keeps repeating the word “testifying” in its place. He’s at 30% brain function.
