My client’s #HP printer hasn't been working for a month and every manner of troubleshooting, resets, changing ink cartridges, didn't work. After calling @HP, they said the card on file had expired so they manually disabled the printer. In unrelated news, I'm now radicalized

I read a great article @PrivacyFanatic wrote about unsecured cameras where she describes contacting businesses to inform them of their security issues, only to be met w/ hostility. Any tips on how to avoid this? I've run into similar issues w/ my own tech consulting business.

@PrivacyFanatic In more detail I too have run into hostile businesses that assume I'm calling to hack their business when instead I'm only trying to help them protect themselves. What approaches or tactics have you learned to prevent these people from feeling threatened?
