I recently talked about gambling on my channel. It is discouraging how many conservative commentators have been pushing it recently. The mentality of trying to gain something from nothing at the cost of others does not belong in the conservative movement.
Anyways, this was my favorite General Conference talk from this morning. Highly recommend listening to the whole thing.
Putting money or something of value at risk to bet on a particular outcome or event is an activity that has plagued mankind almost, I suppose, from the beginning of time.
And time has not made it any more worthwhile or any less harmful. Unfortunately, in recent years, gambling has become incredibly pervasive.
