Have you noticed the not-so-subtle difference? This is a Reuters image of protests in France. Most of the western media reportage on French protests focus exclusively and overwhelmingly on brutality, destruction and anarchy of the protestors, portraying them as out of control monsters. In contrast, most of the visual reportage of protests in India focus exclusively on police action on violent protestors. Rarely would you find images of destruction, though these were widely noted. This isn't a coincidence. The lens is revealing. The visual imagery creates two narratives. One, protests in West are "evil". Protests in India are "against evil".

Liberty is precious. Savarkar, who spent 10 years in Kala Pani under a 50 year sentence for his revolutionary activities, is mocked by the modern day revolutionaries who are ready to offer unconditional apology and surrender their rights in 7 days. Just a perspective. 7 days.

The Indian right is English-literate and articulate. This is India’s biggest shield and sword against narrative warfare by the left and it frustrates them to no end.

I genuinely don’t know who the dumbfucks on BJP’s advisory board are, but whoever is advising them is STILL operating in 2014. A young woman, Ankita Bhandari, was murdered. Her family is STILL demanding answers about the alleged VIP angle, and now they’re questioning the appointment of BJP leader Dushyant Gautam as Governor while the CBI investigation is underway. And what exactly is the strategy here? Keep hoping people will forget uncomfortable questions, bury accountability under political drama, and assume that a few headlines will make the public move on? You cannot expect people to forget a murder case just because the news cycle has moved on. And you cannot build public trust by replacing accountability with whataboutery. Ankita’s family deserves answers. Every allegation deserves a fair investigation. And powerful people should face scrutiny, not receive immunity from questions. Why was Dushyant Gautam appointed Governor? Was the Ankita Bhandari case not considered during the selection process? What is the truth?

Supreme Court raises concern over complete closure of metro station entry gates ahead of October 10 protest, saying the move affects hundreds and thousands of commuters, including students, employees and senior citizens travelling to Delhi from Gurugram, Greater Noida and other parts of the city. “Everybody does not have a car… You cannot bring everything to a halt and leave people without any transport facility,” CJI says.

protest can be stopped in no time, chief election commissioner and the other two election commissioners just need to do a press conference and clarify. but they aren't doing it, because of tussle b/w them allegedly, press releases serve no purpose, throw them in the dustbin. ECI is responsible for these protests and unrest in the country.

It seems "mahilao ka balaatkar ho raha hai" has become the leftist rhetorical equivalent of "seema pe hamare jawaan lad rahe hain." Argument ke saath koi connection ho ya na ho, kahin bhi ghused do debate derail karne ke liye.

I can tell you something with certainty. Anyone who has participated in a voter registration drive or has managed a booth during voting will literally slap you if you say things like "elections are rigged." Indian elections are so decentralised that rigging them is next to impossible. What is going on right now under the guise of "democracy" is just a sub-par IQ display.

somewhere in the government, a bureaucrat with zero tech literacy saw an open-source app, got scared and had it removed from the indian app store. upscslop bureaucracy regulating software while not knowing sideloading exists. you cannot make this shit up.
