There will either be 0 people in line or 500. No in-between.
I don’t think any Apple Store will have more an 10 - 15 iPhone Duos for walk-in customers
Apple Stores Will Have 'Limited' Availability of iPhone Duo for Walk-In Customers macrumors.com/2026/10/21/app…

Sounds like it, but I couldn’t even be bothered to look up the actual company & product 😅

Oh I don’t doubt that they 1. Know *exactly* what they’re asking and 2. Get less-experienced creators to agree to all of this without any pushback 😅
I think they also have a back-up offer baked in like you said for creators who understand the ridiculousness

Charge them 3x your usual rate like I did, just to teach them a lesson 😅

Can someone explain to me why certain brands just don't know what a "pre-roll" integration is?
3-5 minutes?
Brand name in the video title??
So they just want a dedicated video at 1/3 the price 🤡
2TB model is ~$3500 w/ tax. eBay fee is 14% ($-870). Add shipping & insurance for $50.
Maybe $1,600 profit.
Is that good? Sure. But a bunch of these “sold” listings are scams, some will get canceled/returned. I’d estimate 1 in 5 is a real sale.
No one is buying a Duo for $10K

“Valuable influencer” is not how I would describe myself 😅
I hope one day to be cool enough to at least attend an event, but my previous criticisms and lack of complete Apple coverage (watches, HomeView, etc.) probably hurts my chances

Yeah no surprise there, but I’m curious what the spread on re-sale really is nowadays.
I think after 2-3 weeks, these won’t be selling too high above retail.
I don’t doubt that demand is high for the iPhone Duo on some scale, but it seems like the rumor suggesting that Apple has “very few” of these ready for launch day is also true.
I mean this was like 4 minutes after 5am 🤯
Yikes, no luck with the iPhone Duo pre-orders ☠️ Tried to do an in-store pick-up and kept losing the slots. In that time, all the shipped pre-order time windows fell to mid-December lol

I live in a well-known high rise off the Las Vegas Strip. I am 10 minutes from the airport, and walking distance to Las Vegas Blvd.
There’s no possible way Uber can be this bad in this major city. lol

Today, closest Uber to me was at the airport doing a drop. I was going *to* the airport.
Uber says cars <3 min away. But:
8+ min to “connect to driver”
20+ min for driver to drop off first rider
Then the driver blows by pick-up spot, parks 2 blocks away and asks “where u?🤡

Black SUV 90% of the time, or Comfort depending on area.
If no SUV, ends up being a Model Y or 3 with a driver who can’t drive an EV & driver seat set all the way back. Or trash-filled Crossover with no room for friends even when booking a 3+ or 4+ passenger ride

The rumor around town was that I was depriving her. *Torturing* her by making her use that old iPhone.
It took about 3 years of convincing (and most apps not being supported now) to finally get her to upgrade 😅 She had no interest in any upgrade whatsoever

Waymo just went live here in Las Vegas. I’ve used it a few times in CA, AZ. I know it has its issues too but I feel more comfortable being grumpy at a robot car than a person lol
Uber is just so bad nowadays. Wait times, driver availability, pricing - nothing the app tells you is accurate. And then there’s the shit-box vehicles and driver scams becoming the norm.
Uber is <1 year away from being irrelevant in most major cities. Book it.

Sometimes things just being simple & familiar is the answer 😅
