@HarmeetKDhillon - this is a public school. The drugs are listed as countermeasures under the PREP Act, which waives the person's due process rights to access courts if injured by the drug. The Supreme Court holds that states may not condition public benefits on the waiver of rights (Frost & Frost Trucking Co. v. Railroad Comm'n, 271 U.S. 583 (1926)), and they cannot achieve a result indirectly that they cannot command directly. (Speiser v. Randall, 357 U.S. 513 (1958); Bailey v. Alabama, 219 U.S. 219 (1911)). Moreover, the Supreme Court holds that a waiver of rights must be “the product of a free and deliberate choice rather than intimidation, coercion, or deception." (Berghuis v. Thompkins, 560 U.S. 370, 382–83 (2010)). The mandate violates every known precedent established by the Supreme Court to prevent this constitutional abuse by a state actor. My daughter just dropped her plans of becoming a nurse because of this ... she was told they will not consider an exemption of any kind whatsoever! She was on the presidents list and had applied to the nursing program. Very disappointing.

Anyone should have the right to say no to any medical procedure including vaccines and not need to have any reason. That right to decline should not be tied to civil liberty infringement because we are free beings inherently and the constitution enshrines these God given inalienable rights. You cannot have informed consent without the free ability to decline. So really exemptions should not even be needed. JUST the word NO. This is what needs to be changed legally and culturally. For the current climate of this messed up world yes, anyone should be able to religiously exempt. I feel strongly that collectively we need to push past fighting for the right for exemptions and command, reclaim, and demand our inherent right to say no freely and without civil liberty infringement.

🚨WOW!!! A foster mom caring for THREE special-needs kids couldn't afford the parts to fix her van's broken AC. So a total stranger bought the parts himself, fixed it for free, and had it running before she got there. About 11 years ago, Michael's own van AC died and the car shop quoted him almost $4,000. He had 3 little kids crying in the back seat in the Arizona heat… and no way to pay it. Then he had a thought: how many other families are stuck in this exact spot? That was the birth of The Junkie Garage, a nonprofit in Glendale, Arizona. The rules are almost unbelievable. No income checks. No paperwork. No questions about your money or your past. You bring the parts. Y ou donate whatever you can afford for the labor. That's it. "I don't ask you for your income. I don't ask you who you are, where you came from, or anything like that. I just wanna help people get their cars working right." An AC job that runs $2,000 to $4,000 at a normal shop? His average customer pays less than $300, donations included. ...but Michael doesn't do it alone. His son Matthew has been right there beside him, wrench in hand, since he was EIGHT years old. He's a teenager now, and he's still there every week, fixing cars for strangers in his community. "It's an amazing bonding experience, and it gives me an opportunity most kids don't get." A dad teaching his boy how to fix an alternator… and how to be a man. Michael puts it like this: "You haven't lived until you've done something for someone that can never repay you."
