(Arabic Below) Joining Manara marked a real turning point in my journey into cloud computing. At the time, I was already working, but I knew I wanted more. I wanted to grow, to push my skills further, and to move toward more advanced technical roles. Manara gave me a clear path to do that. Through the program, I built structured knowledge in cloud concepts and prepared for the AWS Cloud Practitioner exam. When I passed, it felt like more than just earning a certification. It was a moment of validation. A reminder that I could set a goal, stay consistent, and see it through. After that, I started to notice a shift. My profile began getting more attention. I was receiving more interview opportunities, especially for roles related to APIs, networking, and cloud technologies. The certification added a layer of credibility that helped me stand out in ways I hadn’t experienced before. Even though it’s considered an entry-level certification, for me it represents something much bigger. It’s a strong foundation, and a clear step forward in my career. Three learners. Three countries. One thing in common. Omar Nesredin in Saudi Arabia went from the basics to building large-scale products. John George in Egypt turned an AWS certification into a Master's scholarship in Hungary. Rihab Bourbia in Tunisia landed her first software engineering role and added an AWS AI certification along the way. None of them were waiting to be discovered. The talent was already there. What Manara did was open the door, and then stay in the room. Not a certificate and a handshake, but mentors, real practice, a community, and a path that keeps going long after the first course ends. This is what turning potential into capability actually looks like. Three people, and thousands more like them across the region. Women graduate at higher rates than men across much of the region, yet they’re about three times more likely to end up unemployed. Through the program, I was able to build a solid foundation in AWS and develop a real understanding of cloud concepts, not just study to pass an exam, but actually grasp how things work in practice. That shift in how I learned made a lasting difference. One of the biggest milestones that followed was being accepted into the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship. I’m now pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering in Hungary, an opportunity that has expanded both my academic and professional perspective in ways I hadn’t imagined before. At the same time, I began working as a Salesforce Administrator at an NGO, where I apply my technical skills in a real-world environment and contribute to meaningful work. It’s been an important step in connecting what I’ve learned with real impact.
