Creator Kazuki Takahashi! 🎂🕊️ Kazuki Takahashi created far more than a manga series he built the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! Introducing Yugi, the Millennium Puzzle, Shadow Games, and the duels that would eventually become a worldwide phenomenon. What began as Yugi’s mysterious connection to an ancient Egyptian puzzle grew into unforgettable rivalries, monsters, friendships, and battles that defined a generation of manga, anime, and card-game fans. 4 years ago, Takahashi passed away at the age of 60 after reportedly entering rough waters in Okinawa to help during a rescue involving three people caught in a rip current. He did not survive, but his final act is remembered as one of courage and selflessness. Takahashi’s imagination transformed a story about games into a universe that continues through cards, anime, video games, tournaments, and generations of fans around the world. Happy Birthday in Heaven, Kazuki Takahashi. The heart of the cards and the world you created continues to live on. 🃏✨🕊️

Here we go again... THERE IS NO WAY TO APPLY CHESS CLOCKS TO CHAIN BASED TCGS It's literally impossible. Imagine you would need to tap the clock on EVERY trigger. Moving with Merchant to Abandoned Hall to start Combat Showdown with Irelia would make people go insane.

Do you think the equivalent of chess clocks would improve Riftbound competitive play at RQs? Basically players get 10 mins each game and if they run out of time then they auto lose the game. This is to prevent turns from being called while ensuring events run on time. Ya or na?
