I finally get to make one of these announcements: I have a job. With tokenisation emerging as a massive focus across Europe in the coming years, translating its technical complexity into tangible growth is key. As Ecosystem Lead at Bitpanda, I’ll be focusing on uncovering these opportunities and sharing them effectively across our network of banks, institutions, and existing community members. Explaining why I made this decision would take a few posts. So here’s the tl;dr: For the past 5+ years, I’ve worked as a founder in crypto. I fell in love with the technology. I wanted to see how it’s being used at scale. Since January I am not operationally involved anymore. I took 10 months to figure out my next logical step. I traveled, made more video content (and no, that’s not over, just on a smaller scale :)), and yeah I enjoyed life to the fullest. But (attention, cliche phrase incoming) somehow I was missing a purpose. I didn't feel like starting my own company again. I wanted to do something I’d never done before. Believe it or not, I’ve never had a “real” job. Hospitality, studying, working student, a bit of freelancing, then straight into founding. So I don’t know yet what it means to work at a company this big, with this much weight in Europe. The one thing I know: I am super motivated to find it out. Community, communication and creative strategy, turning ideas into a story, have always been my favorite part of the work. So whatever came next, I’d keep bringing my creativity + my personal brand. I’ve worked with Bitpanda many times over the past years, and I’ve known Florian Klein, who I’m taking over from, and a big part of the team for years. And it’s a bit of a full circle moment: Bitpanda is where I bought my very first Bitcoin. I know how smooth getting into crypto felt for me back then, and that’s exactly what Bitpanda set out to do for everyone. That’s why this feels like such a match.
