Don't build your house on someone else's land
It's great to ATTRACT your audience on a social platform, like Instagram or YouTube, cos that's where your audience are hanging out.
But focus on getting that audience onto your OWN email list at all times.
Friendly reminder:
No-one wants to take your course.
What they DO want is a result, their burning problem solved.
So rather than thinking... "What course could I make and sell?"
Think:
"Whose problem can I solve?"
It’s the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee here in the UK this week. 👑🇬🇧
4 days of events celebrating a lady sitting on a throne wearing a fancy gold hat for 70 years.
All the stops are being pulled out for it...
Massive ceremonies, pageantry, street parties up and down the land.
So while it’s great to have an “only the best will do” blow out for the HRH the Queen of England…
You want to be thinking of "absolute minimum viable set-up" when embarking on becoming a course creator.

Worried you're not "expert" enough to teach techy stuff online?
Don't worry! Your ideal customer doesn't WANT an expert.
They want someone relatable, someone who understands their problem, who've maybe even struggled with this same thing themselves.
Don't focus on where the 'competition' are vs where you are.
Your only competition in creating a profitable online course business is yourself.
How much further along are you today than you were yesterday? Last week? Last year?
That's the only benchmark worth checking.
Most course creators ask, "What can I SELL to someone?"
Successful course creators ask, "How can I HELP someone?"
Swap "killer product" for "killer online course" and this still works.
