Tesla sold an estimated 99,037 Model Ys in Q3 2026, (37.2% of the entire EV market), 9x more than the next best-selling non-Tesla EV., according to Cox Automotive.
About 6.5% of all new cars sold in the U.S. in Q3 were EVs, up 7.7% from Q2, the first significant growth in a year.

I just got a self-driving Tesla and it is every bit as awesome as you Tesla owners said it would be. I'll also add that apart from the mind-blowing self-driving feature, it's the best handling car I've ever driven, even when not in self-driving mode. Kudos to @elonmusk

I think people are significantly underestimating just how much FSD has become a major driver of Tesla sales in North America.
When I ask most people buying their first Tesla why they’re getting it, they now say: FSD.
This wasn't the case even early this year. There has been a real shift these last 3-6 months in terms of awareness of this technology.

FSD Supervised v14.3.9 starting to roll out shortly
This release includes a new active safety feature set: FSD Supervised can now activate on your behalf when an imminent collision is detected and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) may not be enough.
It may also engage if we detect you’re heavily distracted or have accidentally disengaged FSD
