launch the island's first ever single malt whisky, The Hearach. With record queues both online and at the distillery, whisky sold out in just four and a half hours with 25,000 customers queuing virtually to purchase.
1,000 people waited patiently outside the distillery in Tarbert to secure their bottle. Celebrations took place all over the island, with local fringe events happening across the community for locals and visitors alike to enjoy a first taste of this unique Hebridean spirit.
If you missed out on securing your piece of Scotch whisky history, you don't need to wait too long, as The Hearach will be available across the UK in specialist retailers from Monday 2nd October. #TheHearach
