Right now ..it looks like focusing on repairing the basic infra since urban and rural election are due..also the state govt going for PPP models is good sign
Hope they go for new finance options like InVIT, urban municipal bonds etc

The worst part about being from a third-world country is watching your potential get consumed by problems that should not exist in the first place.

Having hearing about this apartment issue for almost two to three years in news
Until the procedural issue are solved amicably, I just hope that there's some better short term alternative..which is affordable and less polluting
Replying to @vtrrk
Hope the government solves the issue
But in the meantime...why can't the apartment association go for a big solar power in terrace .. initial cost cld be high but there are some affordable scheme like solar power leasing for large buildings, i Guess it could be explored

I honestly don’t know what to say! The intense rain clouds over South Chennai are slowly shifting northwards, moving towards Central Chennai and then North Chennai once again.
Areas that have already experienced heavy rainfall could be in for another spell. Rain intensity appears to be increasing again over parts of Central and North Chennai that have already been battered by heavy rains.
This could worsen the situation in already waterlogged areas. Residents in low-lying areas should remain alert, avoid waterlogged roads and take necessary precautions as the rain continues.
