Among many worrying points, this column contains two facts which should cause serious concern for the upcoming winter:
The Saudis have told European refineries there will be no oil deliveries in October.
Europe is filling is gas storage tanks for winter later and from a thinner starting point than usual. Mid-September 2026 levels are the lowest for this date in well over a decade.

I don't know how much more blatant it has to get for the right to wake up.
The Bank of England is now simply a branch of the Labour Party and every decision it makes is based on its desire to prop up this pro EU socialist government.
Ironically it was the Tories, who were so intent on frustrating Brexit under the then Chancellor, Philip Hammond, who allowed it to become the political partisan entity it now so evidently is.

If you ever wanted one statistic that explains why Brexit ended up the way it did, it’s the one right at the bottom of this image.
17.4 million people voted to leave the European Union, yet the overwhelming majority of the MPs sitting in Parliament at the time had backed Remain.
That’s the bit people keep skipping over.
You can argue about Boris, Theresa May, deals, no deals, negotiations and everything else until you’re blue in the face. But Parliament was being asked to deliver something most of Parliament never wanted in the first place.
If you don’t understand the significance of that, you’ll never understand what happened to Brexit.
The public voted Leave.
Westminster largely didn’t.

Tory Party policy has moved progressively towards those of Reform, for example leaving the ECHR, yet Badenoch won the Tory leadership race against Jenrick specifically rejecting his call to leave the ECHR.
Badenoch said ‘people who are saying they will leave the ECHR and so on are giving you easy answers.”
And the liberal/centrist Tory MPs voted to reject both Jenrick and his proposal to leave the ECHR.
So what changed and why did Badenoch feel she needed to say one thing to Tory MPs but then promise something different to the electorate?
Isn’t the reality that Badenoch in opposition is chasing Reform votes with promises she knows her party would never deliver in government.
Should Reform be cooperating with that?
Time for the Right to consider cooperation not vilification.
Neither Conservatives nor Reform are going away. They are competing for the same voters. Spend another election shouting at each other, & both lose - & so does Britain.

🚨 The Government has revealed that it consulted the left-wing, censorious think tank the Centre for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) over the Online Safety Act.
The CCDH was founded by Morgan McSweeney, Keir Starmer’s former Downing Street Chief of Staff. It claims that it wants to tackle “hate”, but in practice campaigns for greater restrictions on online speech.
Its US Director, Imran Ahmed, is a staunch opponent of the Trump administration, and it has been reported that the US State Department is even considering deporting him.
In response to a parliamentary question from Shadow Cabinet Office Minister Mike Wood, ministers revealed:
“DCMS also engages with a range of civil society organisations in developing online harms policy, including where it relates to public safety. As part of this, the Centre for Countering Digital Hate has participated in official-level roundtables with the department in 2024 and 2026.”
The CCDH has received money from taxpayer-funded charities, was revealed to have drawn up a plan to “Kill Musk’s Twitter”, and campaigns for greater government control of the internet, as well as the defunding of right-of-centre platforms.
So why is the Government consulting an organisation with such an overtly censorious agenda on laws governing what millions of people can say and see online?

🚨An Algerian Deliveroo driver has been convicted of raping a semi-conscious woman he dragged off a street "like a rag doll".
Yes, he was working illegally for Deliveroo.
In fact he was in his *full Deliveroo hi-viz gear* when he dragged her down a side road by her arms to a gap between cars where he repeatedly raped his victim.
The woman was left with 33 bruises and subjected to 17 minutes of horror.
He then tailed her ambulance and tried to get to her again in her hospital bed.
She has been left suffering seizures in an "almost catatonic state" for more than 2 years since the attack.
Last month I announced the 'Deliveroo Law' to hold corporate bosses criminally liable for hiring illegal workers on a strict liability basis.
Deliveroo replied claiming they "led the industry" in preventing illegal working.
This is a sick lie.
Unlike the Tories and Labour, we will operate a zero-tolerance approach to this evil.
Under a Reform government, these CEOs and gilded elites profiting from the suffering of British people will be "led" into a prison cell.
