Designed @taskonxyz 's IP without a designer or agency! Here's the story. I’ve been working on a visual identity for TaskOn (for a while), something that reflects the product’s focus on growth, flexibility, and motion, and is a growth engine for web3. That’s how Sparky came to life, "The Ember that Lights the Way". Sparky is the little spark that starts TaskOn. Like a spark plug in a car, it’s small but crucial. It’s a character I built using an AI model, designed around a glowing ember with an octagon core. The goal wasn’t just to create a mascot, but to build an IP that could adapt to different use cases while staying consistent without the need to constantly ask our designers to create something. Sparky can now be generated in different poses, actions, and environments. It can hold elements, interact with other logos/IPs, or be used in collaborative visuals, all without losing image quality or core identity. It’s not fully programmable yet, and it doesn’t evolve on its own. But it’s flexible enough for campaign use, partner content, and storytelling. I'm working on getting it programmable. For me, Sparky is a way to bring more depth to TaskOn’s brand. Not just a logo on a screen, but a character that can be used across formats while staying clear, sharp, and relevant.
