Isnāt it amazing that 90% of LAs can get SEND reform plans approved in one attempt to get millions of ££ while most canāt get an EHC needs assessment done in a legal time frame⦠āHandful of areas still to have Local SEND Plans approved by governmentā

It is not necessary to remove disabled childrenās rights to improve the SEND system. Please listen to families. Over 80,000 people have signed the petition to protect #SEND legal rights.

I have received a parking charge notice from MET parking services after a recent visit to the birmingham airport car park 6 restaurant.
This for being 11 minutes over the allowed time. I visited the restaurant with my family and all six of us ordered food.

Hereās an idea, in order to ābest provide for a childās complex needsā why not continue to give them their legal rights, which protects the individualised provision the individual childās needs require, as set out in their legally protected EHCP. Wild suggestion I know.

This is the time to come together, to spread knowledge, to make sure people are not blindsided by the 'positive spin' that is being served to us about the proposed changes in the White Paper, and to understand what they 'really' mean for you as parents, professionals, and schools

Curious to know how headteachers are viewing the SEND proposals? Specifically that responsibility will move from LA to schools to make decisions and provide provision. It seems like this will cause a lot more parent complaints and a lot of work for schools.

The right to appeal placement to a Tribunal came from the 96 Education Act again under a Conservative Government. And again the 2014 Act extended rights - under a Conservative Government. Now a Labour Government is rolling back legal rights by decades. Shame on you Labour
