ALT Could you be an on-call firefighter? Tarleton needs you!
We're currently dealing with a gas leak on Green Lane, Mere Brow and six homes have been evacuated. Please avoid the area if you can whilst we work with @CadentGasLtd to resolve this. If you live nearby we advise you to close any open windows.
After a bit of hoarsing around, this little chap made foal of himself and got stuck between a fence and a wall. After a little persuasion by us (removing the fence), this one trick pony is in stable condition! 🐎 🐴 🚒

For the next ten days we'll be supporting the @RLSSUK #DPW campaign to cut down the number of drowning tragedies that happen in the UK. bit.ly/2KmBCbw #BeWaterAware
Thanks @Preston_Fire for bringing the ALP last week. Awesome bit of kit and great views from the top - the sea at Southport on one side to Winter Hill on the other. 😎🚒
