🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Unai Emery has unlocked Nicolas Jackson’s best version once again.
• Emery promoted Jackson from Villarreal’s B team in 2021 and gave him opportunities to prove himself at senior level.
• The Senegalese striker repaid that trust in 2022/23, registering 12 goals and 4 assists in 26 La Liga appearances for Villarreal.
• His following spells at Chelsea and Bayern showed flashes of his quality, but consistency remained an issue.
• Now at Aston Villa as Ollie Watkins’ replacement, Jackson is flourishing under someone who knows exactly how to get the best out of him. He has six goals in his last six games, including a brace against Manchester City.
Emery has historically shown how to get the best out of raw attacking talent. Jackson’s resurgence is another example of that.

son meilleur défenseur (Konsa)
son gardien (Martinez)
Il a tout reconstruit en un été
3 défaites en 4 journées
puis 10 pts sur 12

Erling Haaland scored in his seventh consecutive Premier League game, but Manchester City were level for just eight minutes against Aston Villa.
Nicolas Jackson's effort squirmed underneath the grasp of Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Should the Italian goalkeeper have done better?
