Blockchain RIO 2026 confirmed something we already suspected: Latin America's Cardano builder base is deeper than the conference circuit usually shows.
At our booth, dozens of partners and founders stopped by to learn how NFC-based authentication and transaction signing works on Cardano, how it fits into wallets and identity flows, and what it unlocks for real-world use cases. Several of those conversations didn't stay conversations.
This is the value of events like BlockchainRIO: not just visibility, but the chance to sit down with the people already shipping in the region, show exactly where the tech stands, and turn interest into active development.
The Cardano ecosystem in Brazil isn't waiting for permission to build. It's already doing it.

@Petrobras logs mandatory training attendance with NFC cards from @TapDano, signed at entry and exit.
The result? Up to 400% more verifiable data than manual methods.

@Petrobras chose Cardano to do what paper never could: prove attendance.
Using NFC smart cards linked to the Cardano blockchain, each session generates a cryptographically signed, immutable proof of attendance for each participant.
