In the Midwest, when someone says, "Would you like to..." they're actually saying, "Will you...."

A few things we as journalists will need to confront going forward:
- Grappling with dwindling trust in the media and poor media literacy
- The influence of online spaces, particularly streaming sites (especially on young men)
- Reevaluating polls and the weight we put on them

OK, I'll say it ... MN results seems slower tonight. 9:38 and 9% of vote in with nearly two thirds of counties not reporting to SOS at all?

another "progressive" super Pac that just appeared two weeks ago running ads in Wisconsin on Gaza -- this time against Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin. Vendors are random LLCs and donors won't be known until after election day..

Winner-take-all is a cliche.
Yet when it comes to party control of the Minnesota Senate, one race - the only Senate race on the ballot - will be just that.
So why isn't it getting more attention? minnpost.com/elections/2024/…

It's great seeing @WinterKeefer5 pushing for concrete answers — good on her. AND I gotta note, this is the same new-ish MPS supe who said at a June board retreat that what she heard from community is they're tired of the fiscal reckoning getting pushed out.
Lisa Sayles-Adams started her new position as superintendent of Minneapolis Public Schools in Feb as the district entered a deeply challenging budget year. Despite this and other challenges, she says she’s optimistic and excited about the future of MPS. buff.ly/4dBBi1z
