Covid isn’t over. 2 of 3 of us are testing negative thanks to masks. The one testing positive is the teacher in a room with unmasked students. @officialSCUSD bring back to masks so teachers can teach.
Hey @officialSCUSD - what is the reimbursement process for me if I get sick from your schools? Teachers (and students) have families who need to stay healthy so they can WORK. Let’s get everyone masking again so we all stay healthy.
Hey @officialSCUSD - teachers are already testing positive on the 10th day of school despite their own masking. If students were ALSO masking they would not be without their teachers in the first month of school.
Please have your kids mask at school. Teachers are getting sick and will not be in the classroom with your students for 5-10 days.

The House passed the Women’s Health Protection Act months ago to codify Roe. The Senate must reject the filibuster and pass it. This is the worst reversal of constitutional freedom since the Court gutted the Reconstruction amendments in the 19th and 20th centuries.

There are only 9 states with a larger population than LA county, and one of those states is California. We need to tie the Senate to population, or we need to abolish it. This is not what democracy looks like.

So glad my spouse and my student are headed back to school today. So thankful for the community/parent support for the SCUSD teachers and staff.
Thankful for all the friends checking in about the shooting in Sacramento. We are safe in a different part of the grid.
