In 1999 the Trump family used a sick infant's medical bills as leverage to hide a $970 million fortune from their own niece.
When Fred Trump Sr. died, he cut the children of his late eldest son out of the family real estate empire.
Mary Trump and her brother immediately sued for their share. At the time, her brother had an infant son suffering from cerebral palsy and violent daily seizures.
Within days of the lawsuit, Donald Trump and his siblings terminated the family medical insurance paying for the baby's care.
Backed into a corner with mounting hospital bills, Mary was forced to settle in 2001. The family's lawyers told her the entire estate was only worth $30 million and made her sign a strict NDA.
In 2017 after New York Times reporters knocked on her door, Mary quietly drove to her old law firm, loaded 19 boxes of confidential family tax documents into her car, and handed them over.
The files won a Pulitzer Prize and exposed a shell company called All County, built to siphon hundreds of millions out of her grandfather's empire tax-free.
That was when Mary finally learned the real number her family hid from the settlement table:

It’s fun to watch karma catch up every now and then.
Remember when Elon Musk doxxed FEMA CFO Mary Comans and accused her of illegally sending millions of dollars to New York City hotels housing migrants?
He got her fired.
Well, a federal judge just fully cleared her name, and holy shit, the ruling is delicious.
Turns out, Comans didn’t even have the authority to approve those payments herself.
You wanna know who did?
DOGE did.
DOGE personnel had actually approved the continued funding.
The judge found that Musk, Kristi Noem, and other senior officials were part of a coordinated campaign to spread accusations about Comans that they knew were false.
THAT THEY KNEW WERE FALSE.
He described Musk’s conduct as “state sanctioned intimidation.”
But this part of the ruling really stuck with me.
“For reasons unfathomable to this Court, officials chose to turn the power of the federal government against a singular employee with an impeccable record of public service.”

A woman who spent 21 years serving the federal government was publicly accused of criminal wrongdoing, fired, and had her reputation dragged through the mud.
All over payments she didn’t authorize, and that DOGE actually approved.

Adam Hoffman faced a felony charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child after the boy, a friend of his son, alleged repeated acts of sexual abuse (including rape, oral and anal sex, and touching) during sleepovers from ages about 6-7 to 10, plus being shown pornography. After a hung jury, Paxton's office negotiated a plea to misdemeanors of indecent assault and displaying harmful material to a minor because the victim declined to testify again. Hoffman admitted touching the boy's genitals without consent to arouse himself. The judge imposed 60 days in jail (he served 29), license surrender, and a lifetime no-contact order; no Texas sex-offender registration.

Tom Homan, the man leading Trump’s authoritarian “investigation” of Rep. Ilhan Omar right before the midterm, was caught by the FBI accepting a bribe of $50,000 in cash in a paper bag.
