Drawlloween snuck up on myle and I had to rush the first few entries of the @Falco_works list, but hopefully this year I do a reverse and start out weak and get better towards the end, lol
#drawlloween day 15 - Gourd
"Kazegami loved that bottle gourd. Shiroki always told him to throw it out and get one that doesn't look like the result of generations of inbreeding. He always refused, saying that it's unique and embodies... wasabi, I think?"
"Wabi-sabi, surely."
#drawlloween day 16 - Scythe
The Sickle Legion is the primary fighting force of the Selenite army, embodying the aspect of the moon godess that represents both a cutting edge and a singular point. The Sickle war scythe is a versatile standard issued polearm for the front line.
#drawlloween day 10 - Acorn
As if the murderous trees in the ancient forest wasn't enough, even the acorns can be a deadly threat. Swarms of scarab-like nuts can swarm unwary trespassers and defend the parent tree against smaller, more nimble enemies.
#drawlloween day 9 - Sinister Brew
"I made you some tea, my own special recipe! I hope you'll like it..."
#drawlloween day 8 - Doll
Archeologists are increasingly being injured on the dig sites by mimics that realised tasty hands keep digging up the odd hollow clay dolls that keep showing up.
One should be extra cautious when artifacts are suspiciously easy to find all of a sudden.
#drawtober Day 6 + 7
Undead + Steam
Had to combine some prompts to catch up this week.
Some water wizards leave such an imprint on their scrying water that a vaporous specter haunt their quarters after their death.

Day 10 -- Acorn
Though technically edible, acorns from giant oaks required extensive processing to leach out their bitter and toxic compounds. Instead, they were gathered for the weevil larvae commonly found inside, referred to by locals and no one else as "deep woods lobster."

Pen's the kind of person who would be the first killed in a horror movie just out of sheer inability to take any of it seriously.
