I think I will go with Joao Pedro captain this week because: ☑️ He is averaging 11 points per game in home games so far this season. ☑️ Chelsea are playing well and scoring goals. ☑️ Tottenham have only won once at Stamford Bridge in the PL in the last 36 years. ☑️ It's not the early kick-off. I often over-analyse my FPL decisions, but this one just feels like common sense to me. Let's see how badly wrong I get it! 🤣 #FPL #FPLCommunity

I have my doubts about this. These are Man City's last 4 results in the PL at Villa Park... 22-23: 1-1 draw 23-24: 1-0 loss 24-25: 2-1 loss 25-26: 1-0 loss Although his yellow flag has been removed, is it really the right call to captain Haaland vs City's bogey team?

Owning any Man City players not named Haaland means you have to rely on trustworthy team leaks every week to make good decisions. Sometimes they come, sometimes they don't, but either way you have to act at the very last minute, potentially instead of making other better moves. Is it really worth it?

The top 5 attacking full-backs... 👀 In this new DEFCON era, it's exciting to see attacking full-backs making a comeback! Five of the top nine scoring defenders so far are attacking full-backs, and here is a deep dive into those five players. I'm sure most of you will have at least two of these already, and I have Hall and Calafiori. One of my main decisions for GW7 is if it's worth using a FT to bring in one of the others. De Cuyper leads in most categories, helped by the fact that he's actually playing as a winger this season. He's hurting my rank every week and I have considered bringing him in for Hall given that Newcastle seem to have the weakest defence of all these teams, but I'm hesitant as Hall has better fixtures over the next few weeks. He is also, comfortably, the best for DEFCON. Bogle is the cheapest of all but his stats seem a bit inflated given that he's had a couple of early substitutions where he banked the clean sheet in games that Leeds went on to concede later on. Gvardiol has the most assists of all and the joint best xA, but seems to be a rotation risk, sharing minutes with Nico O'Reilly at left-back. I expect this to continue given that Man City have some important Champions League games over the next couple of weeks. I have had Calafiori since GW1, which was one of the only good decisions I have made this season so far! 😆 He remains my pick of the bunch, and I think his PL minutes are more secure than many people suggest given that he's always rested for Arsenal's Champions League games. All five are great options I think, and they make it harder to justify using up spots with the DEFCON defenders, although I do still consider the likes of Vuskovic better than De Cuyper in the long term, so there is always the balance of short term vs long term to consider when bringing in players like this. #FPL #FPLCommunity

This is exactly why Saka and Calafiori's minutes feel secure in the PL right now. Arsenal can win games like this with mostly their reserve team. No real need for them to play in the Champion's League until the later stages.

61 points all out with my wildcard team. Bad week but still a 225K green arrow (the perks of having a terrible rank! 🤣) Saka captaincy blank was the killer but most other players returned. I was one of the idiots that benched Joao Pedro, but I did at least correctly predict that he would have reduced minutes! 😆 Apart from Lewis Hall, I am still happy with my selections on wildcard and looking forward to bench boosting in GW7.
